@@101kingsfan Hi. It’s not hard to make healthy, inexpensive meals. I cook lots of soups, especially in the winter. So easy to clean and cut up a pile o fresh carrots, onion, celery and put them in a large stock pot. Add a cleaned and soaked overnight, pound or two of lentils, split peas or any bean/mix of beans that you like. Season with a few garlic cloves, herbs (dried are fine) oregano, basil, parsley, etc., and spices I.e., smoked paprika, cumin, turmeric, mace, etc. Add hot water to cover and cook until beans are cooked through and tender. Now add salt and pepper to taste. Salt should wait until the end of cooking beans to keep the skins from becoming tough. If you have a slow cooker, put it all in there in the morning and you’ll have a nice hearty soup for dinner. You can add the more inexpensive meats like stew meat chunks or turkey legs or chicken thighs when you are able. Go to KZfaq and search inexpensive meals. I often pick up frozen vegetables and defrost them to add to the pot. Best for this are cut green beans, peas, spinach. You’ll be surprised how many nutritious, tasty, inexpensive meals you can create. If you need bag lunches, skip the expensive lunch meats - they’re bad for you anyway - and pick up sale priced boneless chicken thighs and other poultry. Marinate/season and grill/roast/pan sear until cooked through. Cool and slice for sandwiches or for salads. These are also good for dinner paired with some rice, potatoes or sweet potatoes and a side vegetable like broccoli or cauliflower. Once you start it gets much easier. Happy eating.

Everything in America is profits over people. Feminism was never about empowering women, no. Corporations saw the numbers, how women make up for 85% of consumerism, and decided, let's make them strong and independent with their own jobs and complete control in courts of law to protect them at all cost, so we can milk them dry on anti-depressants, wine, makeup and every other vice you can think of. That's why they banned abortions, because there's too much money lost in aborting a life. Each child brought into corporate America generates them roughly $2-5M worth of profit in their entire lifetime.

The food aisles are littered with garbage foods with the fancy food labels, catchy names, and colorful look which can all make it so deceiving. This video reaffirmed much of what I have practiced for years food-wise. The reminder for me was the cooking oils, I know the general issues with canola oil, for example, it rambles in the back of my mind, but now it's in the forefront! I also love that he speaks to the environmental impact of palm oil processing, or that government labeling can be "pay for play" big corporations can label something heart healthy when it actually isn't. Thanks, Mr. Parrish!

I agree on Siete Chips. I could not get my hands off those chips. They are my go to for chips. I discovered their brand after buying their taco shells one time at my local Krogers. Their taco shells aren’t that bad. Not as strong as regular corn taco shells, but still good. I decided to try their other products, that’s when I found their chips. So delicious!

I recently ate a snack-size bag of Cheetos and felt really bad afterwards. Told myself no more. But, who would have the Cheetos contained those unhealthy ingredients? Just because these products have been on the shelves for 50+ yrs does not mean they contain healthy ingredients. Read Labels!

Hi FlavCity! This is my fav KZfaq channel! I learn something new everyday! I’ve changed my entire diet to pretty much keto and I don’t snack anymore, BUT can you please review the organic Doritos and pick it apart please? Also the sweet potato chips, maybe all the “healthy” snacks in the chip isle. I tried your suggested Seiste chickpea chips the other day. Pretty good!

I have been literally swapping out the toxic food and chemical related products for good healthy products especially the ones you recommend. I wish there would have been someone like you when I was young. Then maybe I wouldn't have ended up so sick with gut related issues. But I appreciate all you do to teach us. I really appreciate what you do so much. Over the decades I've always sought out the healthiest foods and products for myself and family. You have reinforced my goal and kept me updated and on track to providing the best possible healthy products available. You're so right about the all the disgusting garbage being sold. It's evil marketing that to the public. I roam around stores feeling the same way. The only consolation is, at least we are armed with more knowledge. I try to share that knowledge with others. The more people that realize these facts, "might" hopefully get these nasty products out of our stores. We truly need you, and others like yourself, to keep people informed. Keep up the good work. You're a blessing whether you realize it ot not. God Bless.
