This MV is WILD 😅

Not only are they reminiscent of 90s hip hop but 90s rock rap/grunge like Limp Bizkit, Ant Farm, Linkin Park and others...but they can sing too. Crazy!!

Yup I nearly fell out of my armchair when they came up with Shimmy Shimmy Ya (for obvious username-related reasons ^^). The guy who directed this, Ben Proulx, also made the Macaroni Cheese MV (so if you haven't seen that one yet, now you know what to expect 😂); Ben also has his own YT channel, and released a making of there. Quite interesting to watch. The one girl that you like is Sunhye, who is indeed the leader ... and main rapper ... and dancer ... and who writes most of the lyrics (though the other girls contribute to this as well). I love this song, and I love the MV ... but you know what I love even more? The B-sides from the XXL album. The rappers sing, the singers rap, they go all through different styles from afrobeats to drum'n'bass inspired. No skips. And - take a look at some live performances for XXL. There they show that besides the quirky MV, they really have stage presence as well. One that I really like is the one on Dingo Freestyle channel.

I suggest checking out on your own time these couple of videos they did with a channel called Awesome World where they play around with language. It's the best videos I found to get a real feel of their personnality. They come across as very intelligent, articulate and caring. I was already in love with thier music, now I'm also in love with their personnalities!

Yeah you can actually buy a macaroni cheeseburger near me, Im up near Rochester NY, I think it originates from the garbage plates we have up here, i know one new place is planning to open and permanently offer a macaroni cheese burger soon.
