I tried to wipe out two cadian shock troops while they also had some dudes on horseback assisting, they somehow took down my avatar of khaine while only losing the equivalent of one shock troop and the horseback dudes granted they also fired a single round of artillery at me before also getting destroyed (this was also during the beginning of 10th where my eldar were op af) luckily I got my revenge after I revived kang with a Phoenix gem

Or the ones guarding the dark cells, I wouldn’t be surprised if the stuff in there could actually free itself without them being there (or be stolen and misused). Also: The emperor would be way more vulnerable to assassination without them, which would make the imperium crumble instantly

lol I should’ve known that Cadians would be crazy and gutsy enough to take on a Nurgle dreadnought with only their lasguns, swords, and knives and freaking win. Then proceed to basically call a space marine watching this entire thing a wuss for standing there and doing nothing. The insult no surprise but successfully taking down a dreadnought?! I didn’t know that was possible! Possibly because of Nurgle rusting gears and such makes them easier to break or idk. Either way I’m with the Raven Guard cause my jaw dropped from that working. I’m impressed they actually achieved that attack without losing any one. Truly Cadians will never cease to amaze me. Keep up the good work! I always enjoy your content!

The power swords barely worked, a normal lasgun or sword/knife wouldn't have worked at all. This is like using a plasma rifle to the face 10 times and having the plasma rifle break then bashing an unspent plasma cell on the machine until it dies. They were equipped with just enough to get this job done and most guardsmen are not.

Nurgle's corroded looking materials are actually all stronger and sharper than mundane metals. Warp fuckery and all that. The guardsmen used chainswords with adamantine teeth and power weapons- all perfectly capable of damaging even HH-Era tech, even if it takes more effort than a space marine's equivalent

Just to be clear Cadian Kasrkin do receive augmentations to their musculature, lungs, and circulatory system that boost their strength and endurance. They aren't Astartes sure, but they aren't jo schmo humans either, more like somewhere between a regular human and a SPARTAN IV.
