This is good information however you have to listen to many different therapists/motivational speaker. I believe in balance and I do think we should control our emotions. Not feeling them seems unrealistic but shit I have been wrong many times in my life. I do know we are not responsible for the things that affect us as a child. So I don't feel I should be responsible for not being treated well by my step father, or being sexually abused by a cousin. We should feel neg. & pos. Emotions I think the key is not allowing your emotions to control you good or bad. Our emotions make us human. They connect us. The world already lacks empathy!!!! But maybe in my journey I will change my mind.

I’m very sorry to hear that. Praying for comfort to you and your family. You’re not, in any way, responsible for her death - but entirely responsible for how you respond to it and process it. There is a time to grieve as a very necessary stage, but to not stay there, and to move forward positively and constructively like your lost loved one would have wanted - to still believe there is so much hope for you and your future, and the your best days are ahead for you and your family.
