OK I see you Reggie busting out the foot work this vid! Seeing the Mastermind Vans and Hyke Seeulaters is like a blast from the past when you showed those off in the early years of this channel. Japan's influence on the sneaker game is crazy, especially during the 90s and early 2000s. I'll pitch in on some of my favorite Japanese sneakers takes that weren't mentioned. Nike's Gyakusou Pegasus Turbo and Pegasus 36s are some of my favorites from that line with Undercover. Not sure if it's considered a collab, but the Tokyo Maze Air Max 1 is one of my favorite Air Max 1s, such a crazy looking shoe. The Adidas x Kith x Nonnative Ultraboosts are probably my first "underrated" shoes I picked up, I liked them so much I doubled up on them. Not exactly a Japanese collab, but the Adidas x Bodega x End Boro Denim pack is worth mentioning just for how nice they are and their influence. New Balance's Tokyo Design Studios 610s are probably one of the best laceless shoes I've seen yet. Their other shoes are no slouch either. NB also had a JP exclusive 1700 that was a throwback to the JP exclusive 1600 which was cool. Asics has a bunch of Japanese Denim packs that are so dope. The 2017 Gel Sights are probably my favorites. The recent Up There Gel Lyte 3 is also super dope.

I own a pair of Old School Mastermind Vans and the AFEW Gel Lyte IIIs. Happy with both of them! The Vans come with comfycush, which makes them surprisingly comfortable to wear =)

I just recently got my hands on a pair of T-19 (Tokyo 19 was an OG skate crew in Japan, with members like Hiroshi Fujiwara and Yoshifumi Egawa) x Nike Dunk highs from 2006 and the leather is still buttery. Hyped to see some other Japan sneaker collabs getting the spot light.

I recently bought the Acronym X Blazer Lows. While their design isn’t as elegant as the other sneaks mentioned, they do have a unique flair. They caught my eye when I saw Kojima rock them last year and I just so happen to see them highly discounted at the Nike Outlet ($40).

I was lucky enough to find a pair of the HYKE AOH-010’s in my size a few years ago after seeing them in your video background. Now I’ve sold most of my collection but I definitely kept these!

Humanmade x Adidas collab from ~2020, saw them at an adidas outlet and bought the HM Country, one of the best sneakers I own in terms of longterm comfort and versatility.
