I am a computer science student in South Africa who also has an internship. The number of compromises I have to make when juggling between the two with short work stand-ups and classes is just insane. I would use these to join work meetings for a few minutes when on campus during class time when even when on breaks and even just in general if ever I am busy ... these would help soo much especially as a student as I need the money but also can't afford to stay at home the whole day due to classes

I would use these in bed to watch a movie before I fall asleep while my wife is asleep and doesn't want to watch.

Hey Jonathan, I’m a young dad, soon to be a father of two! I love tech and my work and leisure require me to use my phone quite extensively. An issue I run into often is when holding my child to sleep or when I’m in bed with my wife my phone brightness and sound really interrupts obviously those that are trying to sleep from sleeping. Being a young dad while working full time I only have pockets of time where I can do work or take some time off and the full set of things you’re giving away would really increase productivity and relaxation without disrupting those most precious to me. A portable 120 inch screen is wild. If I had it, I would connect it to my laptop and have the screen filled with Chrome tabs so I can see it all at a glance instead of switching tabs. The fact that I could just work like this at a library is mind-blowing, but I know if I do, I'll look super weird. The diopter is awesome as well because I have really bad eyes. Honestly just as a student and having limited room to begin with I would just use this in my room and not be an annoyance to those around me! Also just a big thank you John for keeping us entertained over the years I remember Just being a nerdy 13 year old watching ur videos so facinated by technology and now I'm a nerdy 22 year old with that same fascination (I guess some things never change!) My phone got ran over by an Uber last year😭😭 I’ve been using it with only half my screen visible for over 6 months now. It’s an iPhone 11 and I’ve been trying to raise enough money to replace it. I’m a huge fan of the apple ecosystem and the AirPods and a new phone would really brighten up my new year, the glasses would be amazing for productivity, I could pair them with my laptop and do my designs on that sweet 120 inch screen. And a tool like this would greatly help me with the eventual start of my youtube channel, knowledge is bliss, it’s going to be a informative channel similar to something like Joe Scott .., one of my favourite KZfaqrs.

How would this affect your eyes in terms of eye strain and long term effects on your vision?

My mother is due for an operation soon, and I'm moving back in with her to take care of her, as she'll be tied to her bed for a long time. I'd love to give her these so she can watch movies and be entertained while she is recovering. It would mean so much to us both.

I would use these to chat with my son during the week. I only get to see him during the weekends. That part is true, but here's my sad story pitch. I have to walk 10 miles in the snow barefoot to use any technology. It's all up hill and the lands are filled with lions, tigers and bears. It really makes me step back and think "oh my!" Lol great job on the vids. The Dolby Atmos surround sound is actually one of my top 5 YT vids of all time.

I am an engineer student and the AirPods would allow me to watch your video listen to podcasts and music in peace. The iPhone would allow me to keep track of my classes easier, while the Rokid glasses would allow me to watch KZfaq or past lessons whenever and wherever I am. They might even allow me to look at a 3D rendered of a project in a different perspective.

7 mins of my life that I will never recover

I developed an eye condition (CSR) 6 months ago, which affects your vision based on the amount of liquid behind your retina at the given time, creating a situation where you would have to keep adjusting how near/far you sit away from your screen to be able to read. Having a device like this which allows you to dial in your degree changes would be useful.

I might use this for my Nintendo Switch. That would be sick more shows and movies as well.

For soldiers like myself, when we’re deployed, we’re pretty much in 30-40 man tents for the whole deployment. We have power, but usually only one outlet/power strip per 2-4 people. Some do buy smaller TVs, but they have to put them up in their lockers when they’re asleep/away, so they don’t get taken. Something like this would be a game changer; a soldier like me could just plug a Nintendo switch in, and have something immersive enough to actually have some peace from the deployed environment. The speakers being good, while still being able to hear the things around you is fantastic for us too; a lot of times you can’t wear headphones that cancel out noise, because you need to be able to hear “incoming” from the sirens. If it’s available for me to purchase when I get back home, I’m buying it for my next deployment, for sure.

I work at an Arena and sometimes I get sensory overload. We have a quiet room and I’d use these to watch something soothing/calming.

I would use these mostly for work, being able to work anywhere. Having a screen of this quality is pretty game-changing in my opinion. For example, pairing them with a portable, powerful computer would make for really interesting setups.

I have a GREAT use for these! I’m legally blind, and I use a 32” monitor that I bring very close to my face with a monitor arm. I use the Mac screen magnifier, but I still need to get really really close. This works OK, I still get a little neck strain, but I can deal. My big issue, however, is my computer monitor bocks my studio monitors, since I have to get so close to the screen. I’d I had these glasses, I could sit back, relax, see what I’m doing, and mix music all at the same time; simply sublime😊

I really would try the portable gaming aspect of it. I’m interested to see how good this display actually is out in the wild.

Gonna be honest, i can say that I would use it as a tool as I am a computational robotics student, but I'm pretty sure that most of the time I would use it to see netflix or play something while on long boring lectures.
