SO MANY COMMENTS! I love to see what all of you are coming up with! A lot of these cards I haven't sat down and thought about beforehand, so I miss a lot of "obvious" things, like the fact that shadow king would own cards like mystique, ironman, etc. Seems pretty strong! But anyway, Thanks for all the love and conversation!

Master Mold seems like it might work with Darkhawk. If you fill your opponent's hand and they cannot draw the next turn, that's +1 card in their deck.

Loki with agatha would be so fun, probably so many free cubes

The idea behind Gorr is really cool considering he is the God Butcher in the comics so his ability being: destroying the best cards from both decks is a cool call to that.

Shadow King seems a decent counter to Hobgoblin and Green Goblin. Can’t wait to see when they get released and hopefully a better way to obtain them.

Loki would definitely be interesting as a way to make snapping early very risky. Normally people snap if they have their win condition in their hand, and if you have a way to steal their win condition, that makes them think twice about it.

I think a fun Loki deck would be a bunch of low cost cards including Quinjet and collector. Your goal is to empty your hand by turn 5 and then play Loki. Have America Chavez as a guaranteed 6 drop.

Shadow King is interesting. Seems like a direct counter to things like the Goblins with negative power. I also see potential in reshaping certain destroy decks. Shadow King can get rid of things like The Hood, Bucky and Nova to name a few. Instead of putting all of these low cost cards in the one lane and destroying later, you could build big power around these cards and destroy them last turn without harming the big power cards.

I think Shadow King's effect also destroys card with negative power in them so it could be useful for clearing up Mister Negative (which he also is awesome to use in), The Hood and The Void from Sentry.

Shadow King destroying Patriot/Cerebro/Mystique etc. could be VERY useful

Mephisto would also be great in the invisible girl -> MODOK -> Hela dream Also, the way Sauron is phrased likely means it will remove ALL text from every card with ongoing abilities. That means Electro would just be a garbage 3 energy 2 power card, while gigachad Ebony Maw would be a huge 1 energy 7 power without the restriction of being played before or on turn 3 Loki feels like a 5-cost effect to me, so I'm kind of expecting him to be a 5-cost on release. Also, because your opponent knows exactly what you got, they'll know to retreat or stay around, so Loki's probably gonna be a poor cube-winner. Love the card though, he's gonna be great fun when he releases

Shadow king with things like scorpion, hazmat and spider woman could be a good way to try and nuke your opponents board, just add things like Wong and Luke cage and you have a radioactive deck

Gorr could be used to make sure that you are able to get all of the cards that you need by putting 6 cost cards meant to be destroyed to cycle through your deck

OMG Mephisto is exactly a card I was thinking they should add! I was thinking it would be some meta/fourth wall breaking character like Gwenpool or Slapstick, but that is so cool, love it. Thought it might give negative power but doesn’t matter in a negative deck.

Loki + Quinjet could be really good, especially if you use Loki to leave them with little to no cards or some kind of other harmful state for them.

I can’t think of what type of deck would use shadow king, but I can think of scenarios where he could be useful, like if you have a nova, your opponent has an iron man, or if you have a negative card(like hobgoblin) on your side

Gorr in lore is the God Butcher. He set out on a mission to kill all the Gods in the Marvel Universe..... So I think the text is perfect. I can see him being a 4 or 5 cost.

Imagine if Mephisto works in exponential way. Imagine you get two Sinister Bars in one game and you Moon Girl your 0-6 Mephisto. Your opponent sees what you are doing, snaps and proceeds to throw game for you. You get 2048 cubes from one game.

sauron says it removes the abilities from ongoing cards, not just removing the ongoing effects. so I assume this means you could play ebony maw on turn 6. or maybe marvel snap is inconsistent with the writing again

Mastermold would be pretty disruptive. Yes you give them sentinels, but also its pretty much impossible to remove the sentinels from their hand, since they just get replaced when played, you can restrict their ability to draw cards kind of like black widow. imagine using with wong when their hand is pretty empty, you are basically locking their hand up with sentinels.

Snap players always need to remember that just because a card is very powerful they should not be 6 cost with 0 power because you always have to remember that Mister Negative can abuse any 0 power cards. Shadow King would probably work on a Luke Cage+Hazmat deck. Hazmat on a simple wong combo or with absorbing man combo can make many cards reach that 2 power or less. Then Shadow king destroys them all

Gorr was awesome in the last Thor movie. I'd run w him for sure.

I think the whole point of Master Mold is that unless you discard the Sentinels, you literally cannot get rid of them because every one you put down another replaces it😂

I feel like shadow king would work with hazmat ( correct me if I am wrong) but hazmat -1 to all cards on the broad and would be good against cards that have 3 power making then a 2 power but still not very many situations that would work mostly against cerebro 3

Mephisto into bar sinister feels illegal if the doubling stacks. That's 128 cubes for a single game and doesn't even take into consideration of other ways of putting down more of him like sinister London.

Loki seems so troll. You create a deck with a bunch of high cost or terrible cards, and switch on turn 3, 4, once their hand becomes fuller. Also possible synergy with collector + quinjet.

Shadow King straight counters Cerebro 2 killing both Mystique and Cerebro and most of their board depending on how the trigger stacks.

Shadow king is a tech against cerebro decks (patriot too?) Since he'll kill the big buffers in patriot, cerebro, mystique and thus dropping all of the buffs

Shadow King seems fun with Hazmat+Luke Cage combo, destroying your opponents cards

Sauron is way better than Zero because you are able to make cards like Ebony Maw playable on 6. However it doesn’t work with Electro since it removes the abilites aka they get no text like a leech Also shadow king would be really good after hazmat and you have luke cage, you also destroy both hood and bucky whereever they are

Shadow king can be super useful in a deck that utalizes hazmat and luke cage, spider woman, it also kills iron man, as well as hobgolbin or green goblin if the opponent uses those against you, also kills rocks, squirells, cerebro, white tiger, wong, storm, electro, brood, etc. seems like a card that can be insanely powerful if pulled off with the right combo and against the correct matchup

7:18 I think this combo would be quite powerful. Before turn 5: collector and master mold Turn 5: dino and loki Turn 6: 3 sentinels (9 power) plus an extra 3 from collector's ability and all of this without decreasing dino's power.Not to mention you disrupt the opponent's turn 6 play. You can also use bishop to get +3 power.

Gorr says destroy, so now I wonder how good that plus Knull would be. (If he’s not a 6 cost). Which now that I think about it it would be a cool synergy that makes sense. This because the two characters are actually connected in the comics. That sword gorr is holding, is I believe of Knull’s creation. Edit: I’ve just realized that gorr would end up destroying Knull aswell. But that really depends if he destroys cards in hand and in deck or just the ones on the board.

Shadow king is incredible. Good against goblins, Patriot, ironman ultron drones, negative zone location. He sounds great. I wonder if mothermold hints to a card that is the 4,5,6 cost version of goose for max disruption

4:29 I went from 30-91 so far with Mr Negative/Surfer for 95% of games. Already a cube stealer, now top decking Mephisto is ez 16 cubes. If negative on 3, then drawing negative 2/3 Ironman, Zola, mephisto is ez 32 cubes as mentioned. Talking less than 5% of time statistically and easy to see coming, but with insane high roll and good addition to make 8 cube steals 16, I’m stokeddddd. Saving collector tokens for sure

If Mephisto is added and can stack think about how broken it could be with cloning vats, sinister London or bar sinister

Shadow King mainly counters Patriot / Toxic decks because it would technically kill the weak ongoing cards keeping their combo together (Luke Cage, Patriot, Mystique, Iron Man). But yes, very narrow.

Ramp with MODOK + Loki would be hilarious. Discard your whole hand, "swap" with your opponent so that you get a full hand while they have nothing. I imagine you'd have a Hela hidden under Invisible Woman or something, too.

Loki feels like a leech 2.0 you can remove any counter play the opponent can do. While also synergizing with quinjet or the collector. I feel like it should be more expensive. 0 cost for that much value is CRIMINAL

Shadow King can stop so many things. Starting with 2 power there is: Wong, Brood (Anything that would work for Silver Surfer), Invisible Woman, Electro 1 Power there is: Patriot, Luke Cage, Rogue, Sandman 0 Power and less is where it gets big: Cerebro, Mystique, Iron Man, Dracula, Goblin/Hobgoblin, Hood, Void from Sentry, Anything they are stacking for an Odin (like Ironheart, Gambit, White Tiger) your Mr. negative, Debrii rocks Another big point is all the locations that reduce power Not to mention it also gets rid of most Infinity stones, Scorpioned cards will be likelier to destroy, and all the smaller cards your opponent played throughout the game.

If they have 4 in their hand, you could play Master Mold to prevent them from drawing for the Darkhawk synergy.

Loki on a collector deck would be great. Fill your opponents hand play Loki turn 6 cards that entered your hand not from your deck collector just got 6 or 7 power.

Gorr will synergize with knull really good, just get all the power of 6 costs.

Shadow King seems like a whole new archetype for destroyer decks imo. A way to destroy the hood, bucky, or the void if you don’t draw destroyer or need to win a specific lane. Seems interesting for sure.

Loki and Gorr are almost 100% not going to be 0 cost 0 power cards, that really doesn't make sense. But I do like these videos!

I could see master mold working in a collector deck too. Turn 2 collector, turn 3 master mold, turn 4 Loki+moon girl (may be unnecessary if they have a full hand), turn 5 Sera

Off the top of my head, Shadow King could take out electro, and because of his effect could get out on turn 5, but that doesn't seem very useful when you could just use enchantress.

Black Widow with Master Mold is nuts for No hand draw strats.

Shadow king seems like a good counter against PatriotsCerebro decks with Ultron. Gorr seems scary, cards like armor might become more meta.

shadow king destroys 2,1 and 0, can be good vs mystique, iron man, if u ramp you can take wong too, dracula vs discard, good vs cerebro decks to remove cerebro buff, might have some potential.

Shadow King is exciting because it kills zoo as well as cards Killmonger can’t reach. Disrupts finishers like Iron Man and Patriot. Disrupts Odin, Mystique and Absorbing Man by destroying cards like Ironheart, Silver Surfer and Cerebro. Kills Wong, Lockjaw, Zabu and Dracula combos. Great with Elektro, Sentry and the Hood. Kills Sandman which counters Ronin decks that I believe will be more meta with new cards .

Shadow king strat: play hazmat, then wave, play Odin to proc hazmat again, turn 6 play shadow king and run the board. Sounds good in theory but you’d probably want to run luke cage and everything would have to fall in like perfectly

Something I want to mention is that if you have the worst rng, you could just Loki and see what your opponent has.

I wish Gorr has an animation when you play it, like nailing his sword on the ground and then twist it, and that makes a black explosion, but before he makes it, he would say "Gods must die.."

Shadow King can destroy, iron man - mystique - celebro - green goblin - hobgoblin - sand man - patriot - Dracula(which had no counter till now) - void. So it is very powerful and snap-worthy at the last turn. just destroys some of the win conditions of meta decks at the moment.

A list of cards that Shadow King would destroy which you would definitlely WANT to destroy: If your opponent played them: Hobgoblin, Green Goblin, Angela, Dracula, Iron Man, Ant-Man, The Punisher, Quinjet, Goose, Sandman, Patriot, Wong, Lockjaw. If you played them: Bucky Barnes, Nova, Deadpool. Would also get rid of all Rocks, Squirrels, Raptors, Ninjas. It would be a pretty good card, but at 6 cost it might be too expensive.

What if Master Mold and Loki could be used in conjunction in a Devil Dino deck? They get three more cards, and then you switch, insta-buffing your Dino???

With gorr I feel like you’ll be able to make your deck as small as you need to. So you can put the pieces you need in your deck then just play gorr get rid of your 6 costs and theirs. So you can draw the cards you need. I feel like this could open up some very specific cars combos. So maybe this card will be more useful for you maybe not your opponent

For starters: Loki is nuts in kazaar builds, drops all you hand and steal their hand, even if it isn't buffed Master mold you allow locks to happen to make darkhawk decks more powerful using blackwidow/mastermold/wave/odin Sauron can make red skull, ebony maw, lizard and so many bad effects go away to support the zero strat that desperately needs, feels way more balanced Shadow king feels like it want to be with debrii or the hazmat combo, but overall a bad card since most locations affect the board Gorr is basically a hate for hela/odin strats while also doing good with apoc and helicarrier strats

Loki is interesting to give opponent trash cards, but it only swap hands, so you still need to play a good deck I think it's good to play him turn 4, especially if you think that your opponent is going to play Galactus or a Arnim Zola combo Mephisto on sinister bar get you infinite in one game for sure Master Mold is great because a full hand is not good, you can also add Korg, Rock Slide, Black Widow, and the opponent will retreat for sure Sauron, no idea Shadow King is good for Surfer decks to remove Brood (but before turn 6), it's also good to destroy some combos (Dracula will not be able to discard at the end for example), Iron-man is going to die, Mystique, White Tiger (so no more tigers if Odin is played after your Shadow King)... But we need to know if it will destroy a 2-power card boosted by an effect like Silver Surfer, if not, you don't play him turn 6 Gorr looks like too OP tbh, you just play without t-6 cards, but you can use Death, you can destroy a lot of good cards from the opponent Galactus, Hela, Destroyer, Odin, Onslaught, all these cards are useful for the combo of the opponent, without them ... Shadow King also works as a tech card. If your opponent has initiative you can drop this guy at the last turn and destroy Mystique combos. You can also take out Iron Man and Patriot, 3 very powerful cards that are often easy to read. If you have initiative you can also counter Wong shenanigans. I think it's pretty strong .

Molt, my guy, you just couldn't see the truth about Shadow King Mystique, Patriot, Iron Man, Steel Heart, and most cost 1 cards. This is a huge disrupt card for all those combo cards. And not only that, I can totally see Shadow King in the Luke Cage + Hazmat deck, it would need some ramp to drop Wong early, Hazmat and maybe with Magik, in turn 7 drop Shadow King that would destroy all those enemy cards that where caught in there.

Gorr Sounds like it would also destroy your own 6 cost cards. So I think that would give a boost to having america chavez in deck since you are guaranteed to never pull her as long as you play gorr.

Shadow king could take out all those patriot/mystique combos, knock out cerebro/mystique bs, if you get to go first you'd completely wipe out the brood nonsense before they drop Silver Surfer... Wong would go back to hell where he belongs. Iron man would bite the dust. Course all of this is assuming they haven't been buffed or anything but being able to knock out most of those essential pieces would just be chef's kiss.

Master Mold is hilarious cuz if the opponent plays a Sentinel out, it'll just put another one back.

So you couldn’t really use Sauron with ebony maw, which is the first card I thought of that you’d wanna remove the ability of. But you have to play ebony maw before 3, so you’d need a Psylock to play Sauron before turn 3 to remove the ability of maul. Which just wouldn’t be reliable enough enough to use them in a deck together

Sauron wouldn't remove the ability to not be able to play Ebony Maw after turn three though. I can only see Shadow King being a tech card against Dracula/Iron Man/Mystique/Cerebro/Rogue/Patriot, but i'm sure i'm missing something (it can even snipe a wong or luke cage last turn for some fun)

Mephisto with Sinister London could get you 256 cubes if you win if you play Iron fist before Mephisto, then play Mephisto into bar causing him to move and for bar to fill with 4 copies (5 Mephisto total). From 75 to gold in one game!

I dont think you could use ebony maw with Sauron because he has a text effect saying he cant be played after turn 3 and he has to be in the hand or deck for it to be affected. With Shadow King, you could destroy your opponents field with hazmat combos. Gorr will probably be a staple card like cosmo, he can definitely win you games but he is more of a just in case. You would have to guess what your opponent is playing fairly early on. He would be very good to counter Destroyer, Leader, Hela decks, Galactus+plus Knull combos, She Hulk+Moon Girl. Even if he's a 6 cost, definitely be worth cheating him out.

Gorr either won't be a 6 drop, or that card text isn't finalized. Because it would have to say "Destroy all OTHER 6-cost cards", or else it would destroy itself

I think Sauron cant be used to ebony, bcoz ebony need to drop before turn 4, and sauron just remove the ongoing effect card in hand and deck... if u drop ebony first then sauron, that make the ongoing effect doesnt removed, if u play sauron first, then u cant play ebony bcoz his ability cant play after turn 3 isnt ongoing effect, u stil cant play card in ebony location bcoz his ongoing not removed... that is what i think...

Shadow King + Sentry, could be interesting. Also with Luke Cage, Hazmat, Gambit. Wong to just nuke their deck. I wonder if you could armor, knull, then Gorr?

Play Loki the moment they snap. "Let's see what you liked here, pal."

Shadow king gets rid of cerebro, mystique, lockjaw, luke cage, patriot, Wong, Dracula, iron man, and other cards that could mess up your opponents game plan especially if you have priority ( imagine if they’re setting up for a huge turn 6 with Wong and mystique and like iron heart and you just rip that out from under them)

You could build around Hazmat, then Shadow King would have a much easier time cleaning the board.

Shadow king can be used in hazmat luke cage Loki can be used in agatha deck Gorr can combo with serra when your 6-cost card/s in your hand got discounted it will not be destroyed by gorr

First: Your mic is crackling a slight little bit. Loki is the worst idea they ever had. More frustrating than Wave, Leader and Leech because it can come out of nowhere at ANY TIME and completely destroy your entire game plan. And it's for free... You probably play a bunch of 1-2 drops in your deck + Loki. Play them all out until turn 4 and then play Loki on turn 4 and give the opponent nothing and gain all they have. Mephisto seems fun, because it doesn't make your opponent lose more. High risk, high reward, I like it. Also pumps more cubes in the cube economy. Master Mold will only deny one draw for most opponents and have no other huge effect. It will probably only be good with Ronin. Full hands aren't that bad unless you're stuck at seven hand cards. It can also be combined with Loki in a Dino deck. Thanks for the video Molt!

Gotts insane with lock jaw you can clean out your and your opponents decks and shoot out 5 drops. thor and jane and leech and Aero, there’s so many good combos

Shadow King can be great in some scenarios. Super controlly card. Kills goblins on your side or stuff like Iron man, cerebro / mystique, whole Wong package with iron hearth and white tiger or even gambit if you reveal first, before Odin comes down.

By the card text alone, yeah, I think Mephisto would work like that. Imagine winning a game with him on Bar Sinister that both players snapped? Yes, I'll take my ONE-HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT cubes, please. That's one and a quarter entire ranked TIERS. They gotta reign that in and make the card text more clear. They can't let that kinda thing slide even in a niche scenario.

What if you play Zabu and Wave after? Are all of your 4-cost cards going to be 1-cost?

if you played quinjet and then uses loky all the cards that comes to your hand costs 1 less, that can be good, maybe if you play master mold turn 3 to later use devil dino turn 5 finishing with a loki so you'll get a bunch of 1 cost cards that can be played to fill the gaps and since they come back devil dino wont lose attack, its like 9 free attack for the cost of only 3 energy, it can work out somehow, maybe if you have the collector played its at least a +6 between the traiding of the 3 sentinels and playing them turn 6, adding it all up its at least a +15 turn 6
