If anyone could control anyone else our country wouldn't be in the place it's in. People are responsible for their own actions... criminals don't follow laws and never will.

@@stevetrivago My brother was nearly killed by a drunk driver. His injuries led to an early death. And you know what?? Even he would say these laws aren't logical. They are unproductive, solve nothing, and waste the legal system's time. We already have DUI laws in place.

What I’ve observed between the two candidates leadership skills , is one ASKES you ( the Republican ) the consequences are apparent ( no need to explain ) AND one who ORDERS you to , or there will be consequences ( the democrats ) . The thing you need to question should be , do we really need it ? Verses , DO IT OR ELSE , If we never had it in the past MEANS “ WE NEVER NEEDED IT “ . But now that’s it’s available , that is the nice part . Like air conditioning , or heat . Or hot water vs a cold shower . It isn’t needed but we have it .

The state of Tennessee is horrible when it comes to domestic violence. I moved out there in 2012 with my fiance, but things changed after we married. After punching me in front of his step dad and almost running me over, I was able to escape with my phone, which died. He ended up wrapping the seat belt around his neck in the cop cruiser, handcuffed, and trying to kill himself. I was put into protective custody because of his history, which resulted in the state putting me on a bus to go back to my home state, where I had no family, no place to live, while it was cold, and with only the clothes on my back. The state dropped the charges, citing that without the victims testimony it was difficult to proceed. THEY SENT ME BACK. Seriously. So he got out of jail and followed me back...... I wont get into that but the end all of it wasnt good, for a number of reasons, including that it resulted in a child being sexually assaulted on multiple occasions, which a conviction resulted with no jail time.

in my opinion when a man or woman gets a protective order it should come with a permit to carry we had one where i live she could not buy a pistol due to waiting period and at the time up to 90 days to get a carry permit take course but he was able to buy the shotgun he kild her at the daycare she worked it can be with requirement to start the normal procedure

In case you all didn’t know that GPS bracelets have been around for years and most often judges and prosecutors are the one that recommends them so they should’ve did this a long time ago
@APilgrimInAFallenWorld2030Ай бұрын
Well, at least now, the judges have no say! The offender will have to wear it! Period! Now partial judges and prosecutors will have their hands tied and can’t use their “discretion”, which has in the past led to victims being victimized again.

i need to check but i never heard of one that has a proximity senser to work to notify anyone but the company monitors similar to alarm systems but maybe majic from the legislature will design one its a idea just is it maid or will it cost 10 million to set up then fail like pennsylvanias state wide radio service 60 or mor millions spent and less than yr scrapped as junk

There's so many variables that could go wrong it's not a good idea. 1 where would this gun be kept. Displayed on a hip. In a lock box. If in a lock box where's the key. 2. A very substantial amount of students can easily overpower most teachers. If you can't see the problem with that you're blind. 3. On top of all the other pressures students have to deal with now there's the added pressure of knowing there is a firearm in the classroom. It may give some student serenity, but I doubt very much that will be the norm. 4. And the biggest hole in this, now a shooter does not have to try to figure out how to get a gun into the school. They just need to figure out how to get possession of one of the number of guns that are already in the classroom.

The leg locator bracelet thing should have a thing in the victims house that rings or let's the victim know when that person with the bracelet locator is within 500ft of they're house. I'm more simpler terms.... If the perp has a locater bracelet on his/her leg and comes within a certain distance of the victims home. A light or noise goes off on a box in the victims home. Or both a light and noise. Also, the victim could have a smaller notifying 'piece' that could be held on a key chain. Distance of up to 50ft or a 100ft or even further. But would be small enough to be carried in a purse or pocket, maybe even a necklace or bracelet. Just convenient is what I'm saying. This could give him/her a warning the perp is around and caution should be taken.
@cincinnatibrutality0201Ай бұрын
I think if schools are going to let teachers carry guns. I think they should some how include the students as well. Take a day and let the students know what's possible. Like what happens if the teacher gets shot. Does the student pick up the gun and defend himself? Does the student run. The student pick up the gun an then run? I know these are hypothetical situations, but these things need to be said. Just because the teacher is armed doesn't mean everything is over with and school shootings are now made somehow safe!! Include the students, them aware of what to do!!

Geezus. You think some of these common sense defense of the innocent would have been done years ago. The after-the-fact punishment is bs. How about a breathalyzer before you can start your car? The guy that ran a red light going 70mph in a 35 would have never disabled me and ruined my life. 21 neck & back surgeries over the last 33 years, taking my luxury home building business, destroyed my family. He should be in prison at the minimum.
@APilgrimInAFallenWorld2030Ай бұрын
I think that a child that was victimized by an adult, would be more willing to come forward, knowing that that offender will never be able to harm them again because they will no longer exist! Currently, children that are victimized are less willing to come out because they fear their offender will seek retribution! If the offender is eliminated, the child will no longer have that fear!
@CountryAndProudАй бұрын
I don't think that true completely. In my experience it wasn't fear of the perpetrator but fear of society's opinions of me if I came forward. So I never did.

The peoblem isn't the gun it's the incentive. You send your kid to school to learn a bunch of theory and propaganda. Don't wonder what happened if all you evee did was shove money in your pocket claiming itst for their future then come to find out they never learned anything because you pawned them off on a school system with a curriculum geared toward their failure and the failure of the entire country. Who are you going to give that money to when they don't make it to 30 because it worked.
