Hey up Richard, She’s had a hard life that s cab has, done some mileage now the old girl, will be one of the next ones to be sold as it’s a 66 plate so getting a little old for our fleet now, the perimeter kit on the r cab is just spliced into a side marker wire, I didn’t personally do it but it’s never been an issue for the original wiring as led lights draw next to no amps, appreciate your kind words, I’m just winging it, I will be putting some form of audio into the Timelapse clips when I get my head around the copyright rules 💪🔧

Hey up mate, Volvo is my favourite truck all around, to fix, maintain, look at and drive, personally I think scanias are massively overrated

I run the Budget Volvo Renault T 460 and 480 and they have been pretty good with excellent backup from the Renault Network, Never going to impress anyone but they do the job without much fuss.

As you say it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing you have all the Volvo running gear with a Renault cab. Good trucks 💪

That’s sad to hear man, Iv had mine over 5 years and never had an issue it’s been used 100s if not thousands of times on everything from heavy machines down to a ride on mower, i couldn’t be without it.

I genuinely blame emissions requirements for spoiling the engines. It’s so sad

💯 Iveco have good engines it’s just the wiring that lets them slip, also diagnostics for them is very limited as they lock small setups like me out of most functions

@@TattoooedTech I agree been fixing them since 1999 to 2010 in a dealer and self employed since. Alot of people don’t like them as they struggle to fix those electrical issues. It’s only now the 21 plates are coming out of warranty it’s starting to affect us. This is one reason why I purchased jaltest. A lot of my customers have moved over to daf due to poor dealer services and increasing parts prices. There no longer a good cheap truck. A lot of this new stuff is terrible across the board I feel. There’s not many technicians coming through now too. Going to be interesting in the coming years.
