I went to my first concert sober this weekend. It was an amazing experience seeing TOOL and remembering every second.

I’m the same as you guys , I can’t drink alcohol it took me 30 years to quit but I now just live my life minus Alcohol, not everyone is comfortable with it but that’s ok .

The reason I drunk was that I needed it to be funny and not boring , being boring socially is one of my greatest fears still , a work in progress!

My brother drank himself into homelessness. He quit a few days before he was actually homeless. On his first night of homelessness he started drinking again. Admittedly he didn't get drunk, but on his second night he did. Seems like nothing will stop him from drinking. He even spent 5 days in jail once, and that was his chance, but got out and started drinking again.

For me the change happened when I finely decided to not let the fear of change stop me. I was definitely still afraid but did the work anyway.

This was the most damning and accusing video against people you know nothing about except that you know they have alcoholism but to judge them as never wanting to get sober. Shame on you and your gloomy and judgmental opinion....
