I bought some at the expo, they are an awesome idea. They have some sort of resin in the construction that allows them to sink so you don't need to use the stacker if you only have one or two caves.

Love the honesty in your videos Blake. I have both the D shape caves and the triangle caves but my albino male will only ever breed in the D shape caves. I just ordered one of the D shape ezy caves stacker sets. Keep up the great work.

I was just thinking the removable end on the cave would be handy for when my snails decide that they want to evict the Plecos and go squatting in their caves. It’s like trying to shake a golf ball through a garden hose.

Hi Blake, Great vid as usual. The caves. Thinking of using these in breeding room and would be free standing as only one male in each tank , is the weight about the same as the normal caves or are they super light as there made from a plastic? Cheers, Rich

Hi Blake, what do you do with the eggs when you separate the cave? I have a pair of Albino Bristle noses in a scaped tank with some Zebra Danios and Ember Tetras. The male dug out his own cave under the drift wood and I just noticed about 3 white fry about 10mm long but they seemed to have vanished. Do you think the Zebra Danios are picking them off?

Hi Bill sorry for the delay, in a pleco only tank I leave them but anything with other species they will be picking off the fry.

Hey Blake my order showed up.Just one problem they are to small for my peppermint plecos.Sort of bummed so I made my own out of some black perspex I had laying around Within literally 2 minutes the male was in it.

Question...when i got my bn about 2 weeks ago it ate my brown diatom patches overnight. Now ive got more in there and hes not eating it. Any thoughts?

Hey mate they are probably being too well fed. It will disappear in time anyways

@@BlakesAquatics so seachem phosguard wont help? And if not, its not dangerous for the fish? Some people have told me it will kill the fish if it spread too much
