I have stopped buying makeup. I have a ton from when I was stress shopping. I am a sucker for cute or unique packaging and bright colors so I have a lot of stuff that I can't actually wear daily. Every time I try to declutter I end up falling in love with it all over again. Lol It's just pretty to look at.

I can totally relate and couldn’t agree more! I started stress shopping last year after my mom passed unexpectedly and have since accumulated a ridiculous amount of makeup for one person. I’m now trying to retrain my mindset to lean more into shopping my stash and using what I have versus always jumping on the newest releases and resisting the FOMO (which is not easy lol).

The freckle pen thing! 😂😂😂 I was watching a video the other day and the girl was trying that tik tok freckle pad pen thing, and she went “ ew gross! No that looks terrible! They’re all dark and splotchy!” And I was just sitting here like “ yeh… yeh cool, so that’s what my REAL freckles look like.. so that’s nice” 😂😂😂

The freckle pen confuses me. Just, why? I find it such an odd thing to do, unless you're wearing a costume. And if you're going to do it, why buy a whole new product. Couldn't you just use an eyeliner pencil?

@@ivyzen8860 I got my freckles through second and third degree burns from child neglect. I was already sunburned, very badly. My mom left me with a babysitter and that lady made us stay outside all day even though my mom told her I wasn’t allowed outside. I was in the hospital for 3 days.. so it’s just weird to me that anyone wants to emulate that anyway. 😂😂😂

Those R.E.M. packages look like old roasted mobile batteries from the ancient times when we were able to remove batteries in the phones. They used to work better as hand heaters and now looking at that packaging I have the same fear that they are about to explode. R.E.M. was finaly able to get reaction out of me and somehow it’s worse than indifference. Revolutionary brand indeed. Thanks for the video ❤

I still think ColourPop uses the same shade and renames them according to whatever palette or collaboration they’re doing. From someone who loves many of their products.

Oh FOR SURE! (Also a long time lover CP❤) As well as the shades that may look different in the pan but, yet again, apply/blend out to other exact shades. Comes with the volume and they make up for it in maintaining a decent price point and for innovation! I mean, they NAILED the formula for glitter shades in eyeshadow palettes. For a time reference , I believe the eyeshadow palette from the CP X Muppets collection was one of, if not, the first eyeshadow palettes that CP launched that formula in. In conclusion, they’ve got me forever unless they go sketchballs. Even their origin story is sick, specifically them evolving from: - an indie business that works out of home/small space to - an indie business that absolutely won the beauty community over and purchased a large lab to - an indie brand that built in their lab a 🎉legit brilliant🎉 A-Z in-house production facility To where they are now! Nice and consistent where it counts, but keeps up with and often sometimes sets new trends. She’s a versatile queen… Aaannnnndd you can (all) now see my clear perhaps unhealthy 😊 adoration for CP. also I did smoke a joist right before I started this, so once I committed it was like “ hhheeeeeerrreee we goooo!,,,” (think MarioKart) K I’m done embarrassing myself but I hope it maybe made some of yall smile ☺️🫶🤝

That's so weird that Cosmic Brushes was poor quality for you, mine are fantastic. Their shimmers especially, they're some of the smoothest and least glitter-fallout in my whole collection. They must have an issue with Quality Control like Glamlite does...

As someone with oily skin, I love the DM blurring balm. I haven't tried the foundation shades, just the universal translucent shade. I think it's just not for very dry skin, but works like magic for me.

Ah man that marc jacobs highlighter still haunts me to this day. I remember i wanted it so bad but had just lost my job so decided to wait and then several weeks later when i got a job again it like disappeared off the face of the earth and was nowhere to be found in any store. Seeing you declutter it makes me feel slightly better. Also the packaging is obnoxiously large... i have the bronzer in the same packaging and while i enjoy the bronzer, it's annoying to store.

I don't get what's happening with Kaleidos either. They use to create colorful and shifty products, they made the Club Nabula palette, witch was the favorite palette for a lot of people two years ago, but from that moment, they completely change and became so lack luster! So strange to me.

oh thank Satan that someone has finally had the same experience i did with Cosmic Brushes, i thought i was losing my mind- they were patchy, dry and the fall out was like getting pelted with powder paint that just wouldn't brush away. my Beauty Bay palettes out perform them DRAMATICALLY and it's not even close, i did not get the hype around the brand and how people were naming them as their palette of the year. absolute dry nightmares

Ladies be very selective about who you give your hard earned money to! Cosmic brushes shipping costs make the palettes so much more expensive!! Don't know what the hype is. I'm done with cosmic brushes!! ND palettes are very hit and miss, I do own a few but I choose well and am very happy!

I love Beauty Bay too! The mattes are gorgeous. I'm not crazy about the shimmers but it takes a lot for me to be awed by one. I have been looking at those Cosmic Beauty palettes as I adore their color stories, but now I feel iffy and I won't be purchasing from them. I'll be buying from Lethal instead. Thanks!

I’m wondering if cosmic brushes got better with each palette! Because I have the newest “winter wonderland” and that one is STUNNING! It’s pigmented but still blendable and the shimmers are so pretty. For science I really hope you will review it some day😂 It’s a lot better than the Muse palette imo and that one is very popular as well.

I have all their palettes except Gothic (way too purple for me) and I will say that wonderland is their best one yet. I will agree that the shimmers in their previous palettes are mostly meh

The danessa myricks yummy balm worked really well for me. I tend to have somewhat oily skin, and on days I want to manage the oil, that's when I use the balm. I usually use it before I put foundation on cause putting it on after is weird LOL and it helps keep me from getting beyond a natural glow, like I'm not greasy/oil, just a natural sheen to my skin. Sorry it didn't work out for you! Always love your decluttering videos! Congrats on the move!

I got the Freck contraption and a blush from Saie on my trip to the US this winter. As to Freck, couldn't agree more - it made me look soo Cheeto-ey (and they dared to label the fair shade as "neutral")... Saie blushes are my favorite formula at the moment (I have like 5 shades now) HOWEVER I do agree that the shades Peachy and Rosy are super warm-leaning. They work for me (an uncooked chicken of the yellowish variation) but will definitely give a cooler-toned person jaundice glow. Also the formula varies from shade to shade. After trying to lay my hands on the shade Baby for months, when I finally got it, it turned out it feels more sheer and gel-like than all the others, which is weird (anyone have the same experience?). Maybe they had a bad batch and just shipped it to Europe? I'll have to swatch it next time I'm in a Sephora in the US.

The Natasha denona face/eye palette and the Kosas bb burst were the 2 worst products I’ve ever tried!! Loveee the Danessa myricks blurring balms so much! But they’re more for oily skin. So those with dry skin. I can see why they’d hate it 😂
