this and baba is you were two of my favorite series on this channel. hope you keep doing more puzzle games in the future.

The meta log is probably one of the more clever mechanics in this game. It's in plain sight but it's so well hidden if you're not paying attention. I almost wish the other varieties of tree had their own meta utilities to them, other than just matching the aesthetic of the island type. There's potential for another expansion or two, but with just the perimeter of the map being left, and a few pockets between already-existing islands, I don't think there'll be anything super complicated due to size constraints, unless the next expansion also extends the map to allow for complicated island structures. I hope the next expansion introduces more elements or mechanics, though; like exploring more of the 3D verticality of the levels, other than just stumps and level 1 rocks and logs, maybe have an island with a hill/cliff, so that the vertical space can be explored through a series of stumps on different levels of land, this could also include overhangs that can hide pathing, maybe have a spring with a waterfall, or explore the concept of bridging islands via on-land logs without the logs being in water, for example bridging two high-vertical islands where water doesn't exist at that height.

9:01 I'm actually so pissed right now. I spent SO MANY DAYS and combined hours (at least 6) trying to figure out this last set of island, and THAT ONE PUSH was what I was missing. I managed to convince myself that there was no way to make use of that big log at the bottom after you push it to the right since you have no more small log to make it stop. But ALL I had to do was push it forward and back. I love this game, but damn I'm mad at myself. I had literally every other piece of the puzzle figured out except for that one.

This is one of the most satisfying puzzle games ever made

They should add a update that adds 3 block high trees so you can do more advanced birch meta land rafts

Something else that they can do with DLC content, if their base map makes some ideas difficult, they could make a new map of "americanlandland", and you can acsess it from the few spots you can raft out of bounds. (it's been so loong since I've seen them, so I don't remember how obvious it is that you can do it, and then "hide" content behind it.) By making a transision like that they could altso make some pretty unique mecanics. Maybe a meme mecanic based on the driving on the other side of the road. (pulling logs?!?!?) or Canadalandland having a lumberer axe or jacket to temporary giving you the ability to split logs. may not roll as good but you can still half roll it from round side lift it up from the ends. and of course to get to use both parts of the log. to be honest, I got really exited just by thinking about the possibilities of how much room there is for expantion.

A-A-A! I've spent so much time on this birch puzzle and solved it in a totally different way, using a hybrid raft, the extra short log from the top island and meta-knowledge that you can split large logs. :O

I have solved the first meta solution what you have to do is push the right log over to the left one and make a land raft on its right side then push the land raft in front of the floting log and push of it

I had to resort to watching you vids to have a chance of solving a few of these last Snowmen puzzles. The puzzle designs are too open-ended and meta for my taste. Good game, but not that satisfying, and often times frustrating. A 5/10 for me.
