Absolutely! I remember GameStop was demoing PSVR in one of their stores. As soon as I was put in the demo I said "What?! Dude...take my money!!!" and since then Ive bought the PSVR, Quest 1, Quest 2 and now Quest 3 and never turning back!

really leaning towards Quest 3 as my next headset ( instead off the Beyond) because off the mixed reality stuff. It might be a a little bit off a gimmick, but I feel it is a gimmick that will please my inner child very very much :)

I was not excited for mixed reality and thought "ugh they will spend time on MR instead of VR but it's won me over this is awesome What I didn't realize is in mixed reality the whole house is your boundary since you can see so you can't bump into anything major oversight on my part, so MR is amazing in my book!!!!!!!

Ocean Rift is really cool. That stuff will be a big thing for mixed reality going forward. With "anchors" being a thing right around the corner, someone could develop a window that looks into pretty much whatever the dev wants. Instead of seeing your city out of your windows you might have the view from atop a mountain. How cool would it be if the Microsoft AR experiences shown a few years back with a window looking into a Minecraft world would become real.. What if you could have a window into your favorite minecraft server...

The possibilities using the same concept of ocean rift are wild. Imagine if Tripp incorporated their psychedelic environments in this way, gently moving in a direction giving the feel your entire room is an elevator ascending!

Outstanding one Beardo! Good call on this video! I learned the hard way when I let my wife try Epic Rollercoaster for her first experience. Been working on getting her back in a headset for years now! The first VR experience is a pivit-point for anyone even remotely interested in VR. Be careful indeed!

One bummer is that our main "VR space" is in living room with very high vaulted ceilings, which Q3 can't (yet) model so everything in MR shows a flat ceiling that doesn't exist. Hopefully in future they'll upgrade the software to correctly map angled ceilings.

Awesome video dude. Just got my Quest 3 and am blown away by it! This is definitely a good place to start if you’re new to VR. I was new, and I went straight for the ISS app…….was nearly sick 😂😂

Ocean Rift and its MR mode is astounding. The hammerheads move so realistically, i've been to big-city aquariums and the experience rivals that. Some fun surprises too. Twice, (in MR mode) the great white has actually glitched or something and been stuck in my apartment. Having a pretty-realistic full-size (15 feet i would say) great white in your living room, squirming to get out until it just sits there (meta key will make it move again) is pretty astonishing.

You havnt played drop dead cabin properly until you exit your house through the door that the zombies busted down and bring the fight into the backyard or on your street. Pro tip....dont forget to map out some tables outside as ammo etc will spawn there too and dont forget to disable the boundary in developer mode

You can try battle talent in Mix rrality mode. You can set your own dungeon inside your house and you can use ton of mods on that mode. This game is so stunning!!

Fantastic video and like you say, it's a different aspect of the Q3 that maybe people won't show off to friends and family but go straight to something like shooting zombies or walking the Plank. Handtracking does work in Ocean Rift but I found it horrible to create the windows. The Octopus with those ears is actually real, called the Dumbo Octopus and the spider is a spider crab. Only know this because I showed friends at the Liverpool World Museum Aquarium so I had some experts telling me what was what, they actually have a stuffed spider crab on show and yes they are that big in real life.

as soon as you turned on the skylight/shark bro I knew I'd made the right choice on this one. Will hopefully grab one by the end of March. cool vid!! LOVE jigsaw puzzles. Will have to get that one. btw, still watching the vid but ... thought how cool something similar to Ocean Rift that puts you in space would be.

The oculus is amazing, but it takes some time to get used to all the possibilities, and your video made an excellent job in showing a good way to do that.

This video shows you some great MR stuff. All recommended. For VR, gotta do Beat Saber. And KZfaq 360 videos where they can be standing in foreign cities seeing them just as they really would since it's a movie camera. VR travel is awesome.

I didn't know how cool the AR was in Quest 3.. I have a quest 2.. started out with an oculus rift.. sold it and got the quest 2. I'm thinking about upgrading to the quest 3. Did you reading this do the same? are you glad you did or is there really that much of a difference from quest 2 to buy it? I play half life alyx alot.. is it more resolution or anytthing?

There should be an option on track craft to make tunnels (invisible portions of the track) so you can send it through cat tunnels or something

Mine is as well. I never get this kind of clarity in any light settings. I have reset my quest 3 twice already and it makes it better for a while and then goes back to being fuzzy and nothing fixes it. I’m returning it and just waiting till they make a better version.

Wasn't hard to get one. Although the 512gb versions were scarce. The pass-through is overhyped though in my opinion. For me it is way too grainy. And many others say the same, while many others say theirs works great. So i don't know why some work right and others don't. But I'm hoping it will be fixed in future updates.

The Quest 3 has some decent black levels but when will a Quest 3 Oled come out? It would be a smart move, look at all the people that dropped their steam decks for the steam deck Oled.. It must be possible, the Quest 1 was Oled i'm pretty sure

I'm missing at least 2 games: > Please Don't Touch Anything: House Broken" > Prepare to Dive (App Lab game) These are quite fun. PDTA:HB is a puzzle game. You have kind of a console in your home and if you touch something stuff happens which you try to stop. By doing so other stuff happens - and so on. P2D tranforms your room in a submarine control station. You have to follow a mysterious signal and fight off pirates, fix water leaks, etc. Both are very cheap and definitely worth a look - only 10 EUR and 4 EUR.

pcvr actually looks way better on quest 3 because of the combination of the pancake lenses, resolution increase and slightly bigger FOV. I was actually blown away by how much better it looked. Quest 2 looks so blurry and godray-y by comparison when I went back to it. But yeah I agree 500 bucks is still a lot!

I did, at least my sister, her husband and her kids. Her kids want it of course but while her and her hubby think it's cool, they have no intention of buying one for themselves let alone for the kids lmao. There is a stigma about VR and unless something drastic happens, I don't see that changing lmao :) Even put my mom in it, "ya, it's cool" no intention of buying one lol

MR definitely not tempting me - looked like very limited gameplay that I think would get boring very quickly. Personally I don’t think it’s a big selling point and a much cheaper quest 3 lite without MR would be much more appealing to me. Hope others enjoy it though.

2 out of 3 of them are made for 11 year olds. Kids absolutely hate playing VR so I don't see why they don't have 80% M rated games as that's the demo they should be going for. They other 20% are kids whose jobless yoga-moms use it as a babysitter from from 8am-12pm.

disapointed with game the selction in the video and in the stores... I live in a virtual world as in virtual reality, not a cartoon world and this is the problem with game developers, producing so much junk.....
