Plus, I've played ABD long enough to where I can recognize their models almost instantly, and every game with their animations also has their models, without fail.

My huge problem with modern Roblox fighting games is how similar they are. Every single one has a dodge on a timer, generally a parry on a timer, and a ducking mmo setup of abilities. It’s absolutely infuriating because of how begginer unfriendly they tend to be, and this is coming from someone who plays a ton of souls games, so I’m not new to lots of difficulty and learning curves. I think the difference is the souls game eases you into it and gives you a clear objective, most of the anime games don’t. I did find one that I can’t remember the name of that’s just combat and it’s got the parry block and dodge on timer but you die in one unblocked hit or two blocked hits. The dodge is a short cooldown and this means every fight is dodging and moving around the enemy to land a back hit and trying to time your attacks to hit theirs to parry. It’s insanely fun and simple, I wish more of these games were like that.

@@SponkyCraft Wasn't my intentions, if it does idrc I was just saying what he said in the video feels out dated now that they added a new game mode and the d4c portals in main game. It's not really a YBA clone now plus the devs actually do listen and bugs and bad things like arrows being 30k get fixed quickly. If he doesn't try it that's all good since I know he didn't really enjoy it last time but at the same time they added things he wanted and they're working on making the game not just a skin grind at level 100 which is good for a jojo game. Out of all of them RIU has the most potential if it continues going in this positive direction and doesn't pull a YBA.

One (probably bad) game I'd like to hear your thoughts on is a battleground game called Stand Proud, a stun simulator that does have an on demand combo escape tool (with a lengthy cooldown), not pay to win possibly other than some gamepass abilities, the stands are mostly from part 3-5, with some representing part 6-8. The game went quiet for a few months, but a new update is being teased which will add stone free, and rework gold experience and star platinum:stone ocean among other features, perhaps a video on that game when (if) the update comes out?

I'm late I know, but I used to have a somewhat a close connection to the owner years ago when the game was just on it's early days, the combat was just ABD and there was only reworks. The owner before was not as terrible as he is now, as his game grew so did his ego. The game before was ran mainly by it's very small yet active community which I was a part off, hosting gamedays tournaments and such. After not communicating with them for a while of course the game is new and changed with a very early version of the "new combat" I even tried to help In the game's development in terms of animating for free and tried to suggest things, I really liked the community that's why I wanted to help. Rejected, all of my effort to help, but I thought it was for the better BUT NO, the game kept getting worse and worse and sooooo generic, move sets are literally AUT even in effects, there was an accusation too of using AUT's assets, progressively the community slowly disappeared and the game as thought by the owner and his devs was in the "best state" but it's just generic and terrible. When they didn't mess up the combat AND tried to be unique in a unlazy way as represented now, it could've been better.

Hi eclipse!!! I didn't expect you to make a video on the game that I started making years ago for some friends to play. To keep it short, this was just a project that I wanted to make back when I was a fan of ABD along with alot of my friends. Also I think I do need to address about the combat because it's made by me so its really not optimized and heavily ping related. To understand the combat it revolves around blocking moves and punishing with other moves while using m1s won't work as they have low stun at the start but becomes true after 2 hits.

imagine having so many games on roblox what shows you how not to do a roblox game, if you want player count go further then 10 players mid-day, or what should you do for it not go below 100 player-count, and this guys just copy-paste or even though they did look at the examples, and think they are actually hard-workingly avoid them, no, they dont. As a player, I dont need anower a bizzare day, anower stand upright, anower low-cost yba (even though they making games 5x worse then this). when you draw an art, sometimes, you should stand yp, walk away 5 m from it, wear glasses if your vision is bad, and check how it looks from distance, what you will do with it next and how can it possible change, believe me, if you do it, you will redraw it 5 times more for result to be satisfying. Never was a roblox develeoper, but i think while making gaming art, it same as drawing a picture

@@whyamistillhere3258 here's where you're wrong, again in another reply, the game is not an AFK grind thing, shit literally just despawns, there's no item that takes 1+ hours to spawn, along with there not being a shit ton of obtainment methods, since they're mostly from the shop, or multiple use items, also the PATH to the quest literally takes you to the tutorial NPC, if you were stupid enough to ignore it on the first time there's no ignoring it while doing the quest.

eclipse, they added 77 rings to Roblox is unbreakable, and honestly, i find it fun, since i main hamon instead of using a stand (trust me, hamon + pluck >>>>> any stand ever) its pretty fun since most the enemies are undead, and its easy to beat, and there is different paths you can take to finish the 77 rings gamemode

Ah yes, this game TOTALLY does not use stole assets for things like the notes and common stands such as Killer Queen and Crazy Diamond's movesets, NAHH, could NEVER be the case, not like the moves and assets for stuff like the banknote are from ABD or anything. Also, I just so happen to have accidentally become a AUT historian due to playing it around the time the original launched (I hated the spawn rates it used to take a WEEK to get a damn camera), so, if you're wondering AUT, in fact was a 1-1 copy of ABD with some diff specs, items, and, abilities, until ABD went on its "Great Cleansing" whenever a pretty bad ABD copy got more players for about a week straight This is off-topic but, it was funny what I had done to that games devs, let's just say causing two data resets on accident was a bit funny. Sorry about getting off topic but, due to ABD's Great Cleansing as I'm calling it, AUT had to change all the stolen models in game, if you ever wonder why Rokakas are not in AUT, its because they changed the model they had stolen from AUT then forgot to make sure the code didn't break and when it did, they just added Pucci, at least that's what it seems like, even so, nobody will ever know bc Kur or any of the devs will never admit to it or say the reasoning lets be honest. I had gotten carried away and forgot to use grammar sorry about that.

Speaking of riu. The new update is pretty solid. Is it still budget yba, yeah. But I gotta give them props for originality. Adding 77 rings is something no other jojo game on Roblox has done and they actually executed it surprisingly well.

they added crafting with shitload of grinding to make you grind more, and the combat is still ass ( inconsistent combo, inconsistent hitbox,... ), having unique content doesn't make it good it just makes the game different among the others which isn't "better", and they added AFK mode so that players can finally AFK ( to gain that 2k desperate players ) in it to gain shits that are hard to grind for ( which, is still hard to grind with AFK ). the map is still horribly large and empty. final edit: the cutscenes are horribly still long which making grinding worse because of the rifts also extra stuff: even if the "rifts" reward then some mfs can just steal your loots, and the grinding for levels if ur a newbie is still horribly uncomfortable.

@@oooeee5556 hyperbole at it's finest the AFK mode is really good in terms of potential rewards, fast travel mitigates map problems, cutscenes is true although some are short and while crafting certain outfits takes a lot and a lot of time, they aren't very necessary to be the best at the game, combat is not the best but it works
