Rather than going for the blind test ,as in this case the sample size was infinitesimal,could ve talked about the harman curve and the supported codecs. Not just the blind test bt the whole video was inconclusive.

I use Sony WF1000XM4 and the new AirPods Pro. After using like over 15 TWSs’ I can say the AirPods Pro has more or less nailed the TWS space

Sound is so subjective that if a person who likes certain sound signature and spend thousands towards purchasing system that plays that sound signature best, that system would still be critised from someone who doesn't like that sound signature at all. I think Sound Signature matters a lot over sheer audio quality. I agree with you that only the serious listeners who have good knowledge about sound quality will appreciate a good audio setup be it Home Theatre, Earphones or Car audio system.

Recently(31/12/2022)) bought Jabra elite 2 in Croma. After discounts and Tata Neu coins price came down to 1750. I was really blown away by the sound quality. No ANC and no multi device connectivity. I feel slight pain in my ears during prolonged music session. It lacks AAC codec and supports SBC and Aptx. I use iPhone. I’m forced to use SBC codec. Could have given AAC support. Rest is fine

It's much easier to understand the sound signature of the buds if you put a frequency response graph to show how it reproduces various frequencies. I don't use tws as I prefer neutral or close to flat frequencies across the bands which I dare say you won't find no matter how much you pay. It's best to get a great sounding IEM from either KZ or Moondrop (I prefer KZ ZEX for its neutral signature) and get a wireless modem to convert it to wireless if needed. Trust me, you'd end up paying a lot less for superior sound quality that no TWS can provide.

Energy mode is nothing but "V" shaped tuning which is more bass and more treble. "Consumer centric tuning", they're great for gaming. It's what is found in most of those cheap tws. But music taste is subjective it differs from every person.

As a customer i think the Yamaha tws is actually a pretty bad deal. I mean we are spending 14k on a tws and don't get ANC,Ear detection, touch controls and a mediocre battery life ... 30 hrs battery backup on an tws with no ANC is a huge drawback and i don't know if it has wireless charging or Hi-res audio.... I mean just for that little extra sound quality your sacrificing a lot .. I mean a LOT . I am a person who would consider sound quality other than anything , still it's a bad deal from my perspective. If anyone is planning to buy this pls consider other options ANC is very important and it makes a difference.

Been there in the Audiophile community for so long, made me understand that - Normal people don't have the Idea of how music should sound. Most of us grew older listening to worst kind of audio. So if the Bass is good it is considered better for them. They haven't listned to details, soundstage, precise treble, and overall Non-Bloaty sound. Making any decision out of their data is highly biased. Biased towards Bass, Dark Sound & stuffs like Imaging will be forgotten. It is better to believe an expert than believing such experiments, that will help them to understand why & how some things are considered "Better".

I think you judged mic quality incorrectly. I heard both the mic tests from a regular thinkpad laptop speaker (which is I am assuming, some people on the other end of your call will also be on, considering you are engaging in a meeting). Considering the thin output from a general laptop speaker, the realme buds sounded the clearest out of all of them, as it did a very good job in isolating human voice, or should I say the background noise was very well suppressed. The next runner up was the Yahama buds, as it also did a very good job in in suppressing background noise uniformly (by this I mean that traffic noise was independently suppressed than the human voice, unlike realme buds, where if no speech was there, the whole audio track was suppressed, and when someone starts talking, some of the background noise slightly bleeds in). Though the Yahama bud's background noise level was higher than realme. But I would also give kudos to yahama, as the human voice was very well attenuated, and you could hear the syllables very clearly. The last place goes AirPods, because it sounded like a complete mess. I literally had to raise my laptop volume to understand what was being told. But on the plus side, the sound signature of the voice was well balanced in the airPods, but I feel it serves no purpose for the end user to understand what a human is saying, it was a mixture of background noise and Human voice. But to this point I would also like to add a comment, that after raising my laptop volume, the airpods sound did sound clearer, but compared to the others in the list, volume level did no change to the sound output. Also in this video, your voice was clipping really hard on the AirPods pro, so this is something to keep in mind. As per my personal experiences in office meetings (as my entire team uses some or the other tws from apple, oneplus to realme), the AirPods pro really don't sound that well. The only time they excel is when network connectivity is at its peak from all ends, in those scenarios the mic really sounds hifi, else it literally makes no difference. Oneplus and realme buds have the best mic if you are planning to use for meetings.

tws are not good long-term investments I've used one plus buds z for 1.5 years and now the battery life lasts for 15 seconds on 1 charge. Instead, you should buy wired earphones, neckbands, or over-ear headphones. if you buy tws then you have to buy them every year which is not good for the environment.
