(Also its obvious you havent had much experience with the blue boss at the 14 minute marker. Those little things that looked like four leaf clovers are mines lol) but yeah. I'm glad they sponsored you. It is a really solid game. Wasn't a fan of the latest patch as it seems to have made getting high scores significantly harder late game. But that's just cause i don't like challenge lol. For anyone who works alot but has the energy to get on their pc for grindy non-story based games.... it's worth picking up. Also if the devs read this comment.... could yall please add this game to switch? (I know I'm planning to get the steam deck but for people like me who work long hours and demanding jobs a game like this is perfect on a smaller portable console when I get home from work. Most people won't be getting their steam decks for a while anyways)

You're not gonna be breaking this game. It's meant for the players to build up crazy strong synergies with their weapon and mods in order to get as many points as possible. There is no end to it, the waves just get harder and harder until you eventually die. The game is still in development and it's still pretty early in the roadmap, but it's already a great game worth the $15.

I actually bought this game because of watching you play it the first time you featured way back when Wild-Morph was new. I'm not even that fond of space shooters, but I had a LOT of fun playing it. And I especially like that the achievements are actually each like a little puzzle built out of the mechanics in the game. :)

Spectre also uncloaks while you thrust by the way - that's why enemies could see you occasionally when you thought you were cloaked. Love that you're playing ND again!

Pro tip, I realize you were going for single hit damage, but I've found burst works immensely well with railgun

There’s a particular ship build I’ve been playing called I am the juggernaut that I’ve made. it is essentially using the hull breaker body type to try to make it do as much damage possible by crashing into stuff. you can get some insane damage while doing it. You’d probably enjoy it

With my Bass I just listened to 23:19 min of New Year’s Eve and I loved it!

DF: Takes a build that is revolved around singular large hits. Also DF: Doesn't take Charge Shot, a perk revolved around singular large hits.

The only youtuber I can watch at full volume in the middle of the night and don't have to worry about waking family. Plus he is still very entertaining. Others need to take a page out of his book.

Apparently seldom known fact: you can skip the first 3 level up screens at no cost if you don't want what you're getting. This lets you only grab the upgrades you actually want or even play with the default gear, and skipping does not cost you the level or any rerolls, it just lets you delay picking that type of gear until a later level-up screen. The default gear is actually pretty good, though it lacks any form of quirk other than just being super simple.

Try this combo next when u play Body. Carrier Weapon: blade Shield: halo Mods: Volley and it’s upgrade Elegant construction Shielded constrructs Basically just flaming boomerangs with deal a ton on damage but it shreds you shield So a glass cannon

just a tip, singular strike works with added projectiles, so if you took volley the extra projectiles get smushed into the big one for huge damage

I actually got this after DF did some vids on this the first time. My fave combo is using engineer for constructs + deflect for high shield + either (pretty much any projectile weapon that isn’t vortex or spread{spread isn’t the name, i forgot it - but it shoots close range & lots of projectiles}) or flame lance. If I get flame lance, I focus on constructs. If i get (other specified option) then I got for charged mines, interceptor construct, and the super mod - barrage. Barrage turns pretty much any weapon, no matter how slow the base fire rate, into a full power machine gun - the more projectiles the better. And yes - to any expel who actually read this far - salvo is INSANELY overpowered, even with constructs firing it.

I just woke up, it's rare It happens once per over a year that I wake up this early

aiming and steering are centered on your cursor if you keep it lined up in front of you, opposite of the enemies you want your salvo to fly at, then you won't turn.

One build that’s really fun to get working is a hull breaker crash build. Who needs weapons when you can just just ram the enemy at Mach 80? That’s how I got my highest damage in one hit. I got the planet breaker and ludicrous speed achievements in the same hit and it was very satisfying.

The discord orbs you had in round 2 are the best mpd in the game. And I'm completely unbiased here for sure

Self damage doesn't mean running into things, that's collision damage. Self damage comes from stuff like the halo shield or the antimatter rounds mod.
