The adventure plushie upset me a lot, especially when you realise they could have different varients in the waves. Most of which can just be a colour swap! For example: *Wave 1* : Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Gomamon, palmon, patamon and Gatomon. *Wave 2* : Black Agumon, Black Gabumon, The first appearance of a SaBiyomon (to match Saerdramon), Blue Tentomon (to match the alturkabuterimon Blue), Gomamon Marching Fishes, Aruramon, Tsukaimon and Black Gatomon. *Wave 3* : Snow Agumon, Psychemon, Penmon, Kokabuterimon, Betamon, Floramon, Frontier Patamon, Gatomon (without tail ring). *Wave 4* : Literally all the X Antibody varients of the adventure digimon. Also an extra digimon for Meiccomon :D Also I was waiting for a palmon digivolving spirits, hoping it would be a thing. Had no idea it was an actual thing at one point!

I’d like to make mention of a series of cancelled Digimon toys that showed up in a surprising place. So during Digimon Savers, they planned to release Digivolving figures of ShineGreymon, MirageGaogamon, and Chirinmom/Qilinmon, but they were cancelled in Japan. HOWEVER, these figures were later released in South Korea when they aired the series, and are now exceptionally rare to find

Man, not having a Lilymon and a Zudomon digivolving figures really was a shame. My wife always ask me to give my Shodo Lilymon toy to her everytime she sees my toy.

The D-Arts Beezlemon Blast Mode that got cancelled is the one I still pine for. That one is super sad.

Come to think of it I've noticed there weren't a lot of Digidestined children plushies back then at Digimons early years, I remember seeing a pic of a Takuya plushie online that was released back in 2002 by I believed from banpresto for UFO catchers crane games. I haven't encountered him yet probably hes rare. I would love if they have plushies for the original Digimon Adventure cast back then but unfortunately they have released more plushies for the Digidestined children back in the 2010's such as the Tai, Yamato, Takeru Tri keychain plushies and their OG look version and the big Taichi Tri plush.

Megahouse Gabumon popped up on ebay in 2021! The rest never showed up on there though as far as I know. I'm right there with you on being sad about the Palmon merch not being released! The Megahouse plush hurt enough, but the digivolving spirits was heartbreaking! They were so cute! I adore chubby Biyomon!

@@LostinTranslationmon It was a buy it now from China iirc. Someone in digicollect actually purchased it! The package went MIA for a while but they managed to dig it up recently. It has a pelt that's attached by strings, so it's fully removable if you cut the strings just like that one Cubone plush's skull. Very cool! Fascinatingly, it came in a tiny shirt fitted for the plush that said "Knife of Day". Super adorable and possibly the only proof of an unannounced Knife of Day promo? I have hope that the physical tri-era prototypes still exist based on that, even if we never see them again. For the Cybies though...those aren't renders, those are real plush, and the idea of those things being destroyed makes me so sad but it seems likely... while not quite the same since it did release, it’s worth noting that the GEM angewomon and hikari cancelled its NA/EU release last minute, long after they’ve been taking preorders for it for, er, concerns over depictions of the license…
