Put 5 minute epoxy on the bottom of the legs and let it harden. This will prevent the water from being absorbed in the end grain of the feet and prevent rotting of the wood when it is in the pasture.

That's funny how Hope and Fern, separated for a year, and a nation apart, in far different climates, both come in heat at the same time. Al: use some strong magnets on the kickstand and the other legs, this way you do not have to worry about making sure the clips catch correctly. you can get magnets with a center hole for mounting and then just use a small flat piece of steel or iron for it to click on to.

Could you do a video about the pellet cooker? I like the idea that you are abe to use it in an enclosed space which for me would be a screened porch. In Australia a lot of bbq chicken is done with a beer can. Half full can. You stand the chicken up on the open can and cook as normal. It makes a beautifully moist flavoured bird. You can cook it like this in your kitchen as well. It is fun tasting the different flavours with different types of beer

Congrats on 200k! I once made a project using conduit straps to hold the axles on. They got mangled and pulled off when one of the wheels got stuck on something. The solution was to bolt pieces of angle iron on the wooden frame using lag bolts. The bottom of the L faces away from the wood. Drill holes in the angle and use a U bolt to hold the axle on. They have never pulled out. Your original coop design was pulled by a person I believe. The tractor will generate much more pulling power. Great project!

Al. I have a suggestion for your folding legs on the chickshaw. Get some rare earth magnets, and epoxy them into the leg and the frame. That way, when you fold them, the magnets will hold them and you won't need latches. Plus it'll be really cool! Blessings from Ohio, Pastor Bill!

We had the same issue with UPS deliveries in Tucson. Packages had arrived to the Tucson UPS facility, but languished for up to 2 weeks before they were delivered. It turns out that a number of the workers at the facility had contracted COVID-19, resulting in staffing shortages. Additional workers were brought in from facilities in neighboring New Mexico to help with the package backlog. The ‘new COVID-19 reality’ is that when ordering something, be patient and expect delays. Several businesses that I’ve ordered from for years have stopped offering expedited, or 2-day, delivery, as UPS, FedEx, and the USPS have been overwhelmed with the volume of packages that on some days eclipses the Christmas package volume. I’m delighted when a package arrives!

They make a vertical wire stand to put in the chicken cavity to keep it upright. Or you could do beer can chicken, where you stick a half full can of beer (or ginger ale if you don't drink alcohol ) in the cavity as a vertical stand. It flavors the bird and makes it very moist ☺

You might look into getting 3 Katahdin Sheep (2 ewes and a ram from a different blood line) to help with mowing the pasture. They eat different plants than the goats and they don't need to be sheared of wool.

That green house is awesome. You guys are going to have a lot of veggies. Hey 💡you should have Olivia open a roadside veggie stand. She already has experience with the ice cream shop LOL. Food for thought.
