Welcome to the shady world of short form minecraft videos. In this world you will find content »creators« such as Steveee, Alexa Real, Spectator, Axol and a bunch of others. This empire has accumulated more views than Dream and Technoblade COMBINED, but it faces many cases where content was not credited correctly and in some cases not credited at all.

I think Alexa Real is by far the least "evil" of these creators. I've been watching their videos for a long time and they make a lot of "experiment" videos where they blow up a plot of land with TNT and then spend several hours creating a beautiful landscape from the wreckage. Most of the other videos are just silly memes and random shower questions a person may have about game mechanics, such as which mobs can reach a player on a camel or whether cobwebs cancel damage from an abruptly-ended elytra flight. In fact I'm hard-pressed to find a video that was stolen or poorly credited, unlike the other channels.

The problem is that we cannot ignore the fact that watching their videos is more enjoyable than watching a video of someone explaining, for example, "making redstone" that is unique and original but the presentation is too boring. As we know, people today always seek instant gratification, they want to see the result directly instead of seeing complicated and lengthy explanations.

These have always existed to some degree and we know that platforms like KZfaq or Twitch have zero interest in abiding by the law (yes, believe it or not, they are breaking the intelectual property law!) But I believe that the release of YT shorts a few years ago, which benefits these sort of short zero-depth videos, greatly benefitted these thiefs. We could, in theory, register our creations as works of art (probably some big YTbers already do) and sue these bastards every time they steal from us, but for us small youtubers, the amount of time this would take is just too much... It's really not hard for KZfaq to remove such videos that are copies of others (especially with new AI tech), but... sight... they probably never will...

Imagine these evil KZfaqrs in Minecraft Movie, they will try to build stuff, but they are very dumb, either their “Invention” will not work or easily get destroyed by the heroes, or even outright ignore it, they will be the side villains or comic relief villains or straight up annoying or one-off villains. Also they will die, either killed by players, out of stupidity, or killed by a main villain out of annoyance.

I Watched the Purplers Video on PurpleDragonNuke's Second channel, which compliments it perfectly, explaining in more detail why PurpleDragonNuke would go to such extremes. I feel like, if a 'creator' intentionally steals the ideas of channels smaller than them because they believe those they're stealing from don't have enough of a voice to reach the majority of their audience and therefore can't really impact them meaningfully, it goes beyond just a lack of talent and effort. They're actively going out of their way to get away with stealing content.

@@LordJon25 if I remember correctly, it also happened with one of Purplers' hidden staircases. Someone named Derpy Jhomes stole it from him (Purplers mentioned it in his video covering redstone thieves), and worst of all, someone in Purplers' original video said that he probably learned it from Derpy Jhomes. This is why people need to check the release date of videos, smh...

I completely agree, but this is so similar to every other red stone KZfaqr who is posting the exact same thing: crappy people steal ideas from small channels. I know that this is an important message, but you are going about it in the exact same way, almost to the point of hypocrisy.

I remember seeing these youtubers back then and since yt shorts is mostly a 1 time scroll thing and if ur lucky then more of ur videos will pop off in the shorts section, no one checked their channels and mostly never saw their upload schedule. I used to see their videos and appreciate them for their builds but now i just feel like slapping them 😕

There is a KZfaqr I enjoy watching with only 3k subscribers. His name is mrmaxmondays, He got his content stolen by Megamanny where he made the Sniffer in Vanilla Minecraft in 1.19.1. Using his head as the sniffer’s head. He then got told in his stream chat that it was stolen. It even used his head. Talk about lazy. Give mrmaxmondays some love. He is a amazing at building and redstone

Man, this brings me back. Awesome research dude! I remember finding steveee's channel around the time he had a little over 50k subs, I think. Around the time I finished making my own video on him, he was already at a million subs, which honestly goes to show how easy it is to exploit KZfaq's algorithm. The funny thing about Megamanny's community tab is - I'm pretty sure that he had people paying him for channel promotions. That guy was an entire rabbit hole in his own right. The lesson at the end of the day is, that so long as you have a shit ton of free time on your hands, you won't need to put any thought or effort into the content you're putting out, so long as you manage to upload daily. The KZfaq Algorithm just loves that shit

I know that this video is old, but i want to add something. I speaked with one of these content creators. He has another KZfaq channel which is dead, because most of the time he spent on making videos on his new channel, named PerKing. On his old i think 12 year old Minecraft channel he got a ~500k subscibers and about 8 years ago he was my favourite KZfaq creator. Now his both channels are dead. If i wrote his old channel name here a lot of people over here probably will not recognize him, because he is one of OG Polish Minecraft KZfaqrs. I'm not gonna say his old channel name right here, because he does not want to people know who are he. So that was my story about an OG Minecraft KZfaqr and his second (a lot bigger and more popular) channel. And that is kinda sad, because he abandoned his first channel to make lower quality content in most of the cases identical to others.

Actually Stevee using more than one account is maybe because after he kept not given credit to mr makistien… people made it so when he does content on their stuff, he can’t record on his main because they just won’t work for him like for makistien I think he made it where it kills Stevee’s main repeatedly XD.

This is one reason that I refuse to use KZfaq shorts, it's way too easy to get away with things without providing credit because the description I feel is more hidden, and also I think it goes along with TikTok's environment of people putting next to no effort into things and immediately getting way more views that they would otherwise.
