Bobby Hatfield is one half of the Righteous Brothers. Bill Medley is the other. Check out them singing "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" . It was the most listened to song of the 20th century.

Effortless, no strain, no auto tone, just Bobby and that tiny mic. Beautiful tone, vibrato. And NO falsetto. A natural high register counter-tenor. Bobby was one in a trillion. And today, August 10th, would be his 83rd birthday. Happy birthday! And to that adorable grandbaby River Hatfield Nicholas, 2 years old today, born on Grandpa's birthday. We miss you, Bobby.❤❤❤😢😢😢

Bobby Hatfield owns this song. His voice, his breathing control, his countertenor. Everything about him makes him one of the most outstanding singer of the 20th century. Rip Bobby. No one will ever forget your magnificent voice not only in unchain melody, but in many other solos you sang

Many singers have sung this song but none does it as good as Bobby Hatfield. The studio version of this song was in the film 'Ghost' and was good but this live version is stupendous. No auto tune or gimmicks just pure talent. He was suffering with a cold, his mother was in the audience and was watching him perform live for the first time and he suffered with stage fright. When he hits that last high note he does not contort his face like most other singers do when trying to hit a high note he just bites his lip and smiles as if to say 'I nailed it'.

The best male voice of the times. His cover was nominated to a Grammy for a vocal pop group. He is a countertenor but has such a wide range he also sing baritone. He doesn’t sing falsetto. Back on the 60’s R&B and Soul music was from black singers and we only listen to radio or vynil. Only when TVs became affordable we found they were white and DJ at the radio begin to call them Blue eyed souls. Love romantic and love songs ? Check You lost that loving feeling with both, the most played recorded music of the 20th century. They are hot , spotless and absolutely amaizing.

Also hear both of the Righteous Brothers on the Ed Sullivan TV show sing "You'll Never Walk Alone". Their songs are filled with amazing vocals and emotion. A solo recording by Bobby is "Ebbtide" and his voice sweeps you in and out like the tide. I can tell you felt his emotions in his buttery voice singing Unchained Melody too.

You see all the movement with Bobby's mouth? That's old school "auto tune"

Though many think vocalist Bobby Hatfield sang in falsetto (he didn't) - he sang in a pure tenor. Bobby was unique, one of a kind. And although I have heard many great male singers, Bobby will always be my number one. He turned every song he sang into magic. To me, he was the voice of the Righteous Brothers. A few of his other solos are: My Prayer, Stay With Me, Only You, Love You For Sentimental Reasons, Ebb Tide, For Your Love, and so many others. I do have my personal favorites but pick any one of these, or all of them and you won't be disappointed! Fun fact: When Bobby was in college he was being scouted for pro baseball, but he chose his music, and I for one am so very happy he did.

One of my favorite songs. Hatfield had one hell-o of a voice. No auto tune. Amazing.

If you want another powerhouse singer from the 60s, look up Tom Jones (now Sir Tom Jones) he is still singing in concert, right now he is on tour. His voice is so powerful he has broken microphones. He is the guy that the women first started throwing their knickers at on stage, he started the craze. His voice is still 98% as powerful as it was when he started. You won't regret looking him up.

You guys are great! I think you should check out the band Led Zeppelin. They get a lot of subs. I would start with two songs. The 1st song is "Stairway to Heaven" off of the album Led Zeppelin IV. Please listen to the official audio studio version. Led Zeppelin were very improvisational live, and you will get a better appreciation and understanding of the songs if you listen to the studio recording. The 2nd song is "Since I've Been Loving You' off of the album Led Zeppelin III, and again, please listen to the studio recording. Thanks, and I subscribed! Peace

Thank you so much for the recommendation and subscription…
To each his own. This is an outstanding performance; but about 98% of your catalog is lacking the best music, im sorry to inform you, that your sub #’s are going to stay ultra low. But if thats the catalog of music you enjoy🤷 the audience dont feel the same
