That song Tears of... makes mine rise to my eyes before rolling down my cheeks. Reminds me of that time, so happy time, when I was playing SH with my best friend who we had so similar tastes in video games, movies, themes, and genres. Life made us split apart for no particular reason. I miss that time. I'm 42 now. Time flies, my Dad passed away and rests in his grave for one entire year now, alongside his wife, my stepmother, who left him something like two years before. And only a few months ago, that was my stepfather's turn. Only my mother is still there now. I always thought that getting old is, among other things, losing the ones you love, those near whom you grew up. Saw like that, I took a big old strike these last three years. Listening to Silent Hill OSTs makes me feel again that time when they were all here. Peace on you all, reading this, and the others too. Be happy to feel that you're still alive.

This video was the first time I heard the “Room of Angel” song because at the time I hadn’t played Silent Hill 4 yet. At first I didn’t really get it, but now I do. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I won’t say why, but after playing through that game I understand the meaning behind the song… That shit is DARK.

In my restless dreams, I see a possibility for a remade SH trilogy that honors the franchise for what it is. The score is incredible, the stories were moving and haunting and the gameplay was terrifying but filled with substance and clues that elevated the town's horror and added to the main plots. The voice acting was not always great and we have come along way since the ps1 and 2. They promised to take us back there, but they gave us the shitty hd collection. How sad.
