when i reached the part where u say "she threw her sword into the lake, hoping someone 7x more noble would equip it and do the things she could not", i immediately went "OHHH SO THATS WHY THEY MADE IT FURINA'S SIGNATURE" Furina deserves it, both the sword and the legacy of erinnyes

This is the first time I've heard confirmation of more than one dragon king.

Erinyes design is already hinted in the 4.3 event portrait (the knight holding the goblet) And she never collaborated with Scylla because the white dragon she wanted to kill is literally them , even though they were on the same side Erinyes still associated them with Remus because they were very close . Scylla only took action when Boethius was the one in charge and spreading corruption into the sea while remus was slumbering. About Scylla's identity it's pretty much obvious atp that they are the heir of the hydro dragon rather than being the same , it's impossible with all the canon lore timelines .in cn text Scylla first described as a prince rather than a king which imply that most likely it's a direct descendant taking action in the dragon kingdom after the hydro sovereign perished

also I'm at the side that, since I see the first part the way I do, I just see Scylla = either Remurian's term for Egeria, or the Remurian term for Erinnyes after she took command. The former option: Since Egeria "had the nobility unto a dragon" "but was made purely out of the inherrent powers of Tevyat" -> Remus (who was an outsider) and most Fontainian humans (who wouldn't be retaining their oceanid-like memories) in general wouldn't be able to tell the difference. They would only know that the hydro dragon had been defeated, so "Scylla" Egeria would be a "prince". The point of Egeria's existence, in the first place, was not just to take the function of the hydro dragon, but also to bridge between the vishaps and the Celestia-related creatures like oceanids and humans. Timeline is so scuffed after all. This way of seeing it also easily explained why Remus, being someone who was quite anti-Celestia, was able to get a goblet of "Celestia's creation nature" from "a dragon". I suspect Egeria actually used that goblet to try made her followers their "human" form -> things with ichor and how these creatures see human form as the ultimate form instead. The latter option: well, I also entertained Erinnyes = Skirk theory like you, but I never really delved too deep into it prior to this. So yeah thanks for the dig. The supporting evidence for the latter, as far as I remember from my own dig, came from the hinted end of Erinnyes and the Splendor of Trainquil Waters. But yeah I don't really remember myself that well. If I remember right, the way I understood it: Erinnyes went to look for the "grail" that was supposedly on Egeria's possession. Yeah, same grail Egeria gave to Remus as spoils of war, the ichor goblet. But when she actually was able to destroy the towers imprisoning Egeria, Egeria told her of the truth about the Fontainian fake humans (humans, too, were oceanids, so this had been a civil war) and the goblet -> Erinnyes, disappointed, threw her sword back and dropped her title as lochknight -> it led to the event at Golden Troupe where she simply took a bow (since she was no longer in possesion of her lochknight sword) and confronted Remus straight away. If this theory is true, then it would totally link to Skirk, as the Songs of Days Past did say Boethius ended up sabotaging the whole harmony to kamikaze on "Scylla" Erinnyes. -> and that's how Skirk got into the abyss, in the first place, with her limbs were alr partly dissolved before Surtalogi found her.

I think Erinnyes is actually Focalors human name, as Focalor was only her demon name like Baal & Barbatos for the other Archons. Focalor has sea coloured eyes, was a devoted foloower to Egeria, so much so that Egeria chose her as her successor. How fitting that Erinnyes/Focalors Sword would return to Firina, her human counter part

skirk lore/story is gonna be interesting if she related to it (Song of Days Past lore)

The Skirk theory is interesting, but in the little screentime Skirk has, she mentions that she was taken in by Surtalogi back when she was still very young and was most likely raised by him, which doesn't match up if we assume Erinnyes only went down in the abyss after becoming an adult

That's not how I saw the first part, tbh. Because the wording to me seems to suggest that when Aremonica was destroyed, both Erinnyes and Cassiodor were relatively "children" or "at the younger side". That was mostly how they were spared/were able to escape. but idk. last time I read the description was when I got the sword for Furina. (ye, I was crossing shit with, by the time, leak stuff)

Hmm king remus attempt to unite the tribes reminds me of history of roman empire attempt to make gaul region to join their territory Also, the way erinnyes decided to throw her sword away reminds me of arthurian legend that king arthur's sword is finally thrown to the lake after he passed away.
