This is my simple and easy laundry routine. There's no such thing as laundry day in my house anymore. Now, I do one load almost every day and I don't get burned out by trying to cram it all into one day. I also show you how I fold my clothes and store them in the dresser to save space and keep the dresser organized.

I wouldnt say it's genious at all, but rather the opposite. The cup could have sharp edges and can be rough on the laundry and can also damage the agitator. It has nothing to do in the drum. And then washing everything in cold..... are anyone of you also taking a shower only in cold water?? 🤦‍♂️

I thought my mom and I were the only ones that cared more about our husbands clothes! My mom always made sure my dads shirts smelled good for work and weren’t wrinkled. And now I do that for my husband. He sweats a lot in his job so I put soap additives so it really cleans the deodorant and the sweat and makes it smell super good then I hang them right away or fold them super nice if he’s going out of town so no one thinks his wife doesn’t take care of him lol I just want him to have clean, good smelling clothes haha

I hate sorting dirty laundry, so I have a trio of slim hampers in both my laundry room (off the master bath) and in my kids’ bathroom. They are labeled lights, darks, and towels/socks/underclothes. All 5 of my kids and my husband know to sort their laundry as they put it into the hampers so it makes it super easy to dump into the washer. I usually do 3 loads each day - one of either lights or darks, one of towels, and one of sheets or the bathroom rugs. I timed myself once and saw that even a huge load usually takes only 5-8 minutes to fold and realized I’d much rather do that than save several loads and spend half an hour folding!

if you like washing your clothes on cold water I recommend using tide cold water it smells great works good and is great for washing in cold water

Did I see you throw your detergent cap into the washing machine?? Is that a thing? Haha I’ve never seen anyone do that before ☺️ Anyway, the one load a day thing is something I’m trying to implement (but obviously failing because I literally did 5 loads of laundry yesterday 🤦🏻‍♀️) it totally helps folding the clothes in the room where they go though because then they don’t end up sitting in a basket for days haha! Great video 💕

Yes! It washes the detergent out of the cap so I never have to deal with stickiness. This method is seriously life-changing! The loads end up smaller and its all just way more manageable.

Great vid :) Your daughter is too funny! Just a thought though, instead of throwing the cap in, you can just rinse it when the water is running into the washer (again, just a thought, im not saying you have to do this lol)

The way of folding for the tshirts etc is so much better than the rumple mess I used to go thru years ago. LOL Very nice vlog and I will be back to catch up to you again. I’m thinking of switching to the once a day laundry from my current system which is twice a week. Monday’s are all clothes and towels. Thursday’s are sheets and a single load of clothes (my husband isn’t home usually Mon-Thurs so it’s just me and the kids clothes). But the mountain to fold and put away is frustrating. Thanks for sharing!!! Is it just me but Tide makes my skin break out. If a friend washes with Tide and I dry my hands with their towel, my hands will be bumpy and itchy for the whole day. So weird. I love Arm & Hammer and All with a little Downy Unstoppable scent booster. And Bounce dryer sheets.

Nancy Yerby she talks about it around 4:40. Basically, instead of laying the clothes in stacks in the drawers, they’re stood up like files. This is shown around 5:20

Yes! Cold water prevents shrinking and color fading, I use warm on clothes that I feel need a little more TLC when it comes to stains and dirt, and then I use hot on towels (maybe my OCD on sanitation), but the cold should wash up just normal!
