I went through that too. Took a long time for me because my hair grows slowly, and I had to deal with constant complaints. Looks alright now and people don't complain anymore. I always wanted long hair but my parents never let me have it too long. Near the end of highschool, I decided I was going to try proper long hair and ignore what anyone said about it. I looked like when a mom tries to make their son look neat and tidy for prom.

I have a feeling Laith loves obscure little german nations, first Schaumburg-Lippe and now Lübeck. Not to mention they have literally no resources whatsoever. But its enjoyable to watch I gotta say. To add to this, being a great power as a city state in this time period sounds hilarious. 17:07 Dude, you will still be producing dye, but less. There you can either produce only dyes or dyes + rayon. You cannot produce just rayon...

Idea for Journal Entry: if Canada is split into two (or more) parts without land connection from west to east (for over 5 years? 10?), have a thing that can lead to Canada falling apart, with the smaller bit (by land area, population, or by GDP?) going independent.

You should start as Hedjaz and try to reform the Caliphate. Would be an interesting game of building up a terrible starting nation, getting independence from Egypt, keeping the Euopeans out to Arabia and then take out the Egyptians, Ottomans and Persians and winning the Great Game.

How did you achieve such a high population number? I have tried this run myself and at 1863 I have 800k only, with a population growth of 0,6-0,8% per year. My Lübeck is the most liberal country in the world, my factories are empty and they desperately need more workers. I have a high migration attraction (70.0). Mass migration is not possible, since Lübeck does not have 20 farmland. How is this possible?

Try playing as a medium sized nation with simple goals and not too far behind in industrial development. Austria is in a pretty chill spot, especially if you don't mind losing your italian bits to their unification. Then when you're a pro you can come back and try to form super-germany as them lol
