I asked my Patreon supporters to pick just ONE great K-Pop Song from the 3rd Generation! This isn't a video about 3rd generation groups, but songs that were released in the 3rd generation (including songs that were released by 2nd and 1st gen groups). There will be a Part 2 to this in future, so leave a comment below telling us which of these songs you love, and the songs you would like to see in Part 2!
NOTE: The end of the 3rd generation and beginning of the 4th generation are still debated. For some, the 3rd generation ended in 2019, while for others, they believe the 4th generation began with the debuts of (G)I-DLE and Stray Kids in 2018.
As we are making a 4th generation video soon, we decided to begin the 4th generation from 2018 until 2022. The K-Pop industry has already decided that the 5th generation has begun with groups like ZEROBASEONE and BABYMONSTER in 2023.

3rd generation had some great songs! Shinee, Nu’est, EXO and Seventeen are just a few of the groups that I am a fan of! Some others ones it is my first time hearing and I might start looking into them more like Highlight and Pentagon! 😊Thank you for sharing this videos! ❤

Sad for the people who got into kpop in 4th gen sad for them. All the things you could do in varity show and skinship that is now usually, rare. Also, before the abhorrent whistling sound was deemed trendy in songs. Forever shinee! I like a few 4th gen groups like txt, kingdom and ooo but my heart remains in 3rd gen. Plus, speed was still active.

Ahhhh, don't remind me that Snuper finally disbanded this year. I was always worried they would since they never seemed to gain a large following, and it finally happened. At least the one member has OMEGA X still..... Also, MAP6 went through so much (debuting as TAKEN, rebranding/re-debuting as A-Prince, moving to another company and debuting a third time as MAP6), so I hope the members are okay. They're technically on hiatus, but I don't think they're coming back.... 100% also suffered a lot before finally being disbanded... Will always hate TOP Media for what happened to them....

In my opinion, the perfect starting spot for the 4th gen were the debuts of TXT and ITZY in early 2019. That's the precise moment I saw people begin to use the term 4th gen. Everything about Stray Kids and (G)I-DLE scream 3rd gen to me.

De la 3ra generación solo me gustan SuperM, Everglow, Nct y un poco DC. Temazos de Kim jonghyun, SHINee y RV. Pd. Me quedé esperando canciones de everglow y superm, son de la 3ra, ya que la 4ta empezó con aespa en el 21 con next level. No quiero leer llorones que ni siquiera están actualizados
