In this week’s makeover, we took on a LONG overdue room in our office space, the infamous (and scary) second bathroom. And yes, we actually have another bathroom that we share with the other tenants in the building, but it has remained untouched until now. We also thought it would be fun to add a little challenge by making it our mission to use only the supplies we already have in our storage room.
And not only is this makeover awesome, but there is also some amazing news today about our beloved Rochelle that we are excited for you all to hear!

I mean, as long as the building's landlord trusts they'll do a good enough job, the landlord is just letting them do free labour for them. Getting a bathroom redone like this would cost the landlord a lot of money, what's better than tenants offering to do it for free, while also paying for all the supplies and materials. The landlord will likely just use this opportunity as an excuse to raise the rent 🤷

I thought that the toiletpaper holder is also the storage for extra toiletpaper. If you are out of toiletpaper, you just throw away the paper tube and push up a new roll 😂

I request Rochelle talk more about the technical parts of the DIY projects, i.e. setting up the router, bit sizing, deciding on when to use a jig or not. It doesn’t need its own video but it would be nice to get a little more explanation since she has the expertise. I think she can really take this DIY community to the next level!

Welcome Rochelle! I love what you all did to the space, it looks really awesome! But I think it might be a good idea to add baseboards or quarter rounds to fill in the small gap between the floor and walls. If there is a gap, it's not fun trying to clean it.

My only comment is to have a "lock" on the other side of the acrylic toilet paper holder to avoid it sliding down to the bottom. 😅 I am so happy Rochelle is an OFFICIAL SORRY GIRL!!! ❤❤❤

The dish soap in the bathroom doesn't have to be for dishes... When you work with grease and normal hand soap just doesn't cut it, dish soap can work great.

The dish soap is a clear sign that the guys using that bathroom work with grease/oil is some form. My dad owned an auto shop and always used dish soap to get the grease off his hands.

As an interior designer I must mention the instability of the toilet roll holder and the non attaching the mirror frame to the wall. The first is gonna cause some frustration with the users, the mirror frame not attaching just...eh. But otherwise what an improvement :)

Fun tip....run the prints through a laminator before attaching to the waffle acrylic. Then they are protected and washable since there isn't a layer of glass or acrylic on the front.
