Platinum in probably 6-8 hours. And same didn’t know they did anything either.. never bothered to look into it 😳 Edit: I was 6-8 days away from platinum. Total took about a month

Short bow has a combo: jump shoot land shoot. It's faster than roll shoot. There's also a run shoot that comes out different. Love the concept of this video. The paintings aren't usually my priority.

@@frogmcdonald9964 Leyndell has the Black Bow. That's a long bow with that awesome moveset. You can cheese in there after two big bosses and run to the bow.

@@dick2463 Alternatively, you can get the Ruptured Crystal Tear in southwest Liurnia + teleport at the Tower of Return to do the elevator skip and enter Leyndell with zero Great Runes!

I wanna do a bow only run so much, but either mounted (if torrent is summonable) or with summons fatrolling (you only lose 1 and it's extra hilarious to try and hit heavy rolls with a shortbow and nl other weapons)

Rain of arrows is better on bigger enemies. They get hit by more of them, so it was great that you used it on elden beast

Not sure if anyone has said it yet but I think its really cool that you try to use every item you get from the rewards rather than just sticking with the strongest items you have. It makes the runs alot more intresting and fun to watch. Awesome video!

Noticed during the video that you said that fire giant doesn’t have a weak spot on his second phase. If someone else hasn’t said it already you can shoot/ hit his wrists for extra damage. Good vid bro keep it up

it might be a good idea to show your map location when you get to certain missable locations like the painters spots, to also give your video a bit of a tutorial element. great vid always look forward to it.

For the redmane painting at 01:40, you can use the horse jump boost (before dropping down) and with an mid air jump, you can just fall down there with torrent without dying. I found this trick from the wiki and its really useful, so i thought i should share this, because dropping down there normally is just annoying.

@Bill Clinton Enjoyer I’ve 100% all but PlayStation exclusives. They tried patching waves of gold but you can still roll it and get hit afterwards. Don’t know why you’re so hostile, or why you’re assuming someone with likely triple your playtime is a new scrub. Sounds like you’re projecting.

For fire giant, in the second phase, his weak point is his eye, and you can lock onto it from a distance since you used a bow. He is also weak to bleed, so using the bleed arrows would have been easier. otherwise, this was an amazing run my dude, love it. gained a new sub

I think vagabond is an exceptionally good character for challenges like these. He is very versatile, has a good starting gear and his stats are nice and could be changed to a faith or intelligence build since he only has an only 1 point in each missing. Only real problem is arcane but frankly, I rarely see someone going for arcane build in challenges

I find it to generally be easier to play souls-like games with a M&K. Remapping controls is extremely important though; their defaults are awful, and make poor use of the mouse in general. The only thing I find harder is getting the lock-on to behave when fighting a group, but I stuck it on a mouse button and spam click it until it actually targets the right thing (because spell free-aim sucks).

Interesting fact, if you fight Neil with bows or crossbows like in the video, he always do the same attack because your far and he constantly tries to get closer, i found that when i was doing my crossbow only run 🤣🤣
