I'm not a fan of 40s-style jazz, but this is one of best performances I've ever seen. Great musicianship, fantastic vocals, and it's so much fun to watch. this was the first postmodern jukebox i saw and still one of my favorites. it does excellent job of representing the overall experience of what pmj does so well. not just the excellent vocalist, musicians and arrangement but meticulous implementation of "vintage" character though their outfits, expressions, movements and setting that virtually transfers you back in time. its also great how each of the women are unique in vocal attributes and styles yet can then also harmonize so well together... in addition, the dual bass play was very creative touch and notice how it ends with the bass getting the last word.... well, because its "all about the bass". ;)

@@TheSpeakEasyLounge - If you go back and listen to this again, Miss Jennifer, pay attention to how Morgan sings harmony. The first time, Haley stays on the main melody, while Morgan harmonizes underneath, almost like singing alto to Haley's soprano. When she comes in to harmonize with Arianna's strong alto, Morgan now sings a soprano part above Arianna's melody line. When the three girls harmonize together, Arianna sings alto harmony, Haley sings 2nd soprano melody, and Morgan sings 1st soprano harmony. This blend is so good, it's hard to hear the individual lines without a good headset, but with one, you can definitely pick out each girl's part. This is a perfect example of the professionalism these women bring to Scott's terrific arrangement (did you catch the "New York, New York" and "Mr Sandman" riffs by the clarinet and trombone?) Glad you enjoyed it!

When I watched this the 1st time, and the 2nd and 3rd and still do today, I was thinking damn Haley can really sing anything and make it great. But when Morgan came up to the mic for her solo part in this, my eyes widened when I heard the power coming from her and the raw growls she sings with too. Each have their own styles and excel at how they perform. After this video I went to find out more about Morgan James, and found she is extremely talented as well, and a down to earth person who enjoys recording with her husband, who's an excellent guitarist. They made many singing videos together from their home during the lock downs. Also found that Morgan is trained classically and performs a lot in NYC at some well know theaters, whereas Haley learned from mom and pop, being around them while they were playing the local circuit in Chicago and elsewhere, while she was growing up. I should mention Ariana Savalas is no slouch either. She is the daughter or Terry Savalas for the TV series "Kojak" back in the 70's I think it was. Morgan and Haley did this duet with Morgans husband playing guitar in a quaint setting here. "Dear Prudence" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rdyPi8ur3NzOqZs.html&ab_channel=MorganJames

@@jedislap8726 This is true. Even Haley's Tusk has banned him from her Haley Fan Page. But he just creates another account and comes back. Facebook has become aware of his shenanigans as other viewers have apparently reported his rudeness. He even says straight out that PMJ is only successful because of Haley, without her PMJ would be nothing. It makes me sad because I used to like to listen to the PMJ/Haley cover of Creep. But now it makes me think of The Black Dog and I skip to the next song. Which sucks for Haley.

Just watched your PMJ reactions. Haley Reinhart and Morgan James are phenomenal! Haley Reinhart does a great cover with PMJ of "Black Hole Sun" I'd love to see you do. Also, their rendition of "Seven Nation Army" is good if you don't mind the New Orleans dirge style it's in. If you want to do some more PMJ Haley does a great cover with them of "Mad World." That would introduce you to Puddles, the clown with the golden voice lol. He does a lot of guest vocals with PMJ as well and his voice is so buttery smooth.

as soon as cash app is working for me I will shoot you fiver to react to Danney Carry playing Pnuma live with all cams in his kit. I love Tool. The Album Lateralus is designed around the Fibonacci sequence. Vocals drums lead and bass all are designed separately by Manard James Keenan. They are the best Metal band in my humble opinion 35 years of tunes. They are near 60 and they still rock the shutters off the storm cellar. Metal incarnate!) Since the death of Neil Pert he has slid into number 1(different genres, but the S-tier God position can only hold 1

One of my PMJ favorites ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q5-aeqqa1tDblmg.html ) is Scott's reinvention of The Spice Girls' 1996 hit "Wannabe" in the style of the WWII-era close-harmony trio, The Andrews Sisters.
