Barbara really expended a lot of physical energy in many of this movie's scenes. And being a middle aged woman at that! And alas! We knew all along that Ronald Reagan would never be the bad guy.

♥️♥️ So this is the movie from Back to the Future 1. I have watched it before now but I did not realize it was this movie that was on the sign on Back to the Future. ♥️♥️Good movie.

This was a decade before Miss Stanwyck herself starred in a TV Western entitled "The Big Valley", as well as before Reagan went into politics and got elected Gov. of California, followed by his two terms in the 1980's as POTUS.

Barbara Stanwyck always had a strong screen presence. Rod(d) Redwing as Powhani. He made a career out of his posing as a Chickasaw Indian. Redwing was born Webb Richardson on August 24, 1904, to Black parents in Tennessee. Webb later changed his name to Roderic "Rodd" Redwing, adopted a fictitious Native-American identity and reported his birthplace as New York City. Redwing claimed that his mother was from a Chickasaw reservation in Oklahoma, and that his father was a stage actor. Some sources reported that he used the Hindi-sounding name Roderick Rajpurkaii, Jr., and said his father was a Brahmin mind reader from India
