BEAUTIFUL WORK. I make miniature furniture. What I’d give to have this.
@carolallison9685

I made that kit. I furnished it like a Victoria era farmhouse complete with vegetable patch, greenhouse, stables, and barnyard. It was fully wired for lights. It took me a year and a half to complete. Spent well over a $1000 on it to make it perfect. It was beautiful.......then, one day when it was fully done and on display, i was doing the laundry and my kids got to it and broke it and all of the furniture inside of it. Had to trash the whole thing. Moral of the story, dont build one of these kits if you have small children. They will think its a toy and try to play with it no matterhow much you tell them its not a toy. My kids are older now, so i think it might be safe to get back into miniatures. Pray for me and my dollhouses lol.

Oh no!!! I'm so sorry that happened! I have a toddler and he loves playing with it even though it's nowhere near done. I built him his own little dollhouse to play with so he keeps his hands out of mine but it's not working lol. He loves messing around in the kitchen and has broken several pieces. It's okay though- things can be replaced and a happy childhood is my focus for now :)

I have this exact dollhouse kit that’s been sitting in my garage for over a year. I love dollhouses . Could you maybe show us how to do a dollhouse in 1:6 scale for Barbie dolls next time ? I can't stand store bought dollhouses, because they're mostly just empty frames . I had 1 when I was a kid, and I always wondered, " If Barbie came to life ( in the same height she was created), would she feel comfortable living here ? I felt the same way about her furniture and her vehicles . So, I've always dreamed of making a deluxe dollhouse for Barbie with all the modern conveniences of a real house . I plan to make a dollhouse that has at least 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, huge kitchen and dining room and a deluxe wash room basement and entertainment center, complete with a pool table, a gameroom section for her kids, ping pong table and a Japanese style snack and drink machine and a microwave .
@rosesanderson4625
@rosesanderson4625 Жыл бұрын
I'm entertaining the idea of a full 1:6 dollhouse and it's not something you really see. I think the biggest reason is just sheer size of the finished product. Most people don't have the space for a house double the size of a regular dollhouse.

I’ve had a growing addiction to minis over the past 15 years and have completed several projects I’m proud of following instructions and customising some store bought minis. I have watched every tutorial you have and you are by far the best at providing tips at “kit bashing” as I do not typically follow kit guidelines either. I love your tool links and have purchased several of your suggestions. Some things I already had on hand. My next purchase is the resin printer and finish kit. The 3d printer has brought my 15 yr old daughter back into my passion for minis. Thank you so much for your simple, yet thorough aids! Can’t wait for your next tutorial!

You have given me some awesome ideas, so thank you 😊 I have collected things over the years for my dollhouse. My dollhouse was built when I got it….farmhouse style. Currently I have 5 rooms but I want a total of 7 rooms by splitting the attic space between the two children. I’m super excited to try my hand at making a spiral staircase 🥰🥰💗💗 I’m not sure what scale my dollhouse is 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s smaller than the largest house you’ve built, but larger than your smaller houses

Dammm you are like a professional professional those cuts and those stairs you can tell you have been doing it for ages. I have been looking for a youtube i can take inspiration from i have always known i wanted to be ether an Acitect or an Interior designer (i hope i spelt that right) and this is exactly what i wanted to do make dollhouses/modals of houses i thought up in my mind. I am already inspired shopping for what i mite need for this hobbie but i don't think mine are going to look as professional and clean ACT as yours you deserve a medal or something like seriously if somebody out there is not impressed with this they are mental like they do not deserve to be on this earth at all like seriously.
