Make sure you take that tourniquet out of the wrapping. You will never be able to get it out of the plastic with blood on your hands. I recommend carrying it in your vest as well. Same with the CPR Mask. They make smaller CPR Shields to fit. Carry compressed gauze as well for life-threatening wounds where you cannot use a tourniquet (neck, groin, armpit). Chest seals are a necessity for gunshot wounds to the chest so that the lung doesn't collapse as well. Civilians don't wear body armor so they are more susceptible to those wounds. Super easy to use, big sticker basically. Lastly, put a space blanket there too. In short, blood doesn't clot when it's hypothermic and trauma patients can get hypothermia even though you're sweating, due to fluid volume loss. -Medic

Loved this video! Pretty sure I have the same bag as you! I love the police videos because I’m the only female in my department, and in surrounding ones, and it’s kind of like I get to talk to another female cop when I’m watching your videos LOL!! I probably should get some dog leashes because we always have runaway dogs in my town. Other than that I have pretty much all the same stuff you do.

I am not a police officer, and will never be one, however my uncle was a sergeant for many years . I have the upmost respect for anyone servicing the public ! Cops are needed ! Hey there! What a fun video. My name is Sheryl and I'm a correctional officer. I wanted to share a technique with you that I use and as a fellow law enforcer, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. I wanted to come up with a quick way to grab the inmates attention when it took us too long to break up a fight. So what I do is I shout 'TROUBLE' and when I do that, the inmates have to drop what they are doing, line up, face me and wait for further instructions. I picked the word trouble cause its easy to identify and if I'm yelling it, trouble is coming, happening or they are about to be in trouble so you need to knock it off! It took some practice but it works so well. I even did 'trouble drills' with the inmates to practice. Other officers started doing this too which was so cool to see. It has helped me with count times, shakedowns, if I want to cuff a few up etc. This is also what got me the Officer Trouble nickname! So would love to hear what you think of this technique. As a law officer yourself, I truly would value what you have to say. I hope you don't mind the long message!

I have a rechargable one made by Bushnell for hunting. Uses usb to charge & was only $30.00 at local walmart. I love it, very handy light. Lol, well maybe not so "handy"
