He does good prop comedy, it's just his thing, people get all worked up because he uses props, that's how he makes comedy. He's actually really great at quick jokes, no buildup just a quick laugh. He cracks me up

Yeah. I don't get the "If you take his props away, he's not funny." Even if that were true, props are his thing. He's a PROP comedian. People say the same thing about Jeff Dunham and his puppets: "If you take away his puppets, he's not funny." But he's a ventriloquist comedian. That's what he does. It would be like saying, "If you take away Jerry Seinfeld's observational humor jokes or Steven Wrights non-sequiturs, they're not funny." That's.What.They.Do. That's their style. So of course they'll suffer if you force them to do something they haven't spent decades crafty or to do a style of humor they aren't as passionate about.

Finally some people who make sense around here. Yeah I've seen him do that show without props as well if you're talking about the one on Comedy Central. The guy is actually really quick and witty, like all comics need to be to get anywhere. I'm not the biggest fan of his usual style of prop comedy, but it doesn't mean it's not funny. Humour is subjective and I have a lot of respect for Carrot Top. You don't become a living legend from being untalented, plain and simple..

I was buying a homeless dude a beer and pizza in Vegas and my wife ran in and said carrot top is out there and wants to meet u. He said your wife saw me and told me what u were doing and I had to shake your hand. He was very genuine and kind for giving me that moment. Thanks carrot top

So if I a lucky and blessed person can help another feel better about the world even for 5 mins and not get kicked off the seat he was on for not eating I am willing and happy to do that. I dont know what happened to u in your life to make such a bitter person but I hope if u fall into a dark place someone will come along and do what they can to give u a moment of normalcy so u might understand life has worth and a stranger does care not just when your hanging off a bridge.

I met him almost 20 years ago when I was working catering at charity benefit in NYC. He was very nice and was chatting with with the staff afterwards. As I shook his hand I told him I genuinely loved his "Chairmen of the board" movie when I was kid. Without missing a beat he says "Great! That brings it up to five whole people who did, but my mom doesn't count!". Haha

My parents got divorced in the early 90s when i was just a kid. My life was absolutely awful, and my mom left and took everything and my dad, bro and i were forced to move into a musty old basement at my grandpas house that was straight out of the 50s. Totally beat down but we had a pool table that i slept on and played pool on, and an old black and white 13" zenith tv. Thats all i had in the world for a while and man, carrot top was on constantly. He turned a horrible time in my life into something i could find laughter in. Love that guy. He got me through some bad times.

I HIGHLY suggest that if you have a chance to see his show in Las Vegas then DO IT !!!! He is hilarious and his comedy is extremely funny. He is the KING of prop comedy and you'll laugh your ass off at his show. You won't be disappointed

Carrot Top lives in my neighborhood of Las Vegas and I run into him everywhere! He's extraordinarily friendly and willing to take pics. I last saw him with his dog at the vet's. I wish him continued success!

I dont understand the hate, he obviously is a weird dude, but why hate on him, he is not doin any harm? And he is doin something unique, whats wrong with that? Either its funny or not, either watch it or not, like it or not, but why hate seriously, dude has done nothing wrong. It's like a lot of people hate Ross Noble because his comedy is all made up on the spot and he can keep it going for as long as 2 1/2 hours. But yet, most comedians repeat the same material. Ross Noble makes up EVERYTHING!!! No two shows are the same with him.

Saw him on Rogan the other day,You really have to hand it to this guy, he's 60 years old now(he's 46 here), worth nearly 100 million dollars, has a beautiful girlfriend, and seems to be a genuinely happy content person, proud of the career he built and the life he made.
