I got a 2017 Tahoe for my 17th birthday! They are actually very nice cars! Especially for long car trips. I love it so much that my mom started driving it and bought her a Escalade. My family loves these cars very very much!

Wife and I just bought one used and so far we love it. Sounds great, fits the whole family and 0-60 in 5.8 not bad for a big heavy beast.

Chevrolet has Tahoe RST, Blazer RS Ford has Explorer ST, Edge ST Dodge and Jeep have Grand Cherokee SRT, Durango R/T, Durango SRT. So if you want a sporty American SUV, make sure it has the letters S, R, or T.

I prefer my 04 Tahoe LT personally, in terms of looks. I'd love to have that 6.2l V8 in mine, though. But the 5.3l V8 making 295-300hp and 330lb ft of torque isn't anything to joke about, either. 297k miles daily driven, no transmission swaps, no engine swaps, aside from the standard wear and tear of a daily driver for 15 years the vehicle is in great shape. Tahoe's last a long time, and if you take care of em they seemingly last forever lol. But great video as usual

The heated seats are not back/butt OR butt. It’s back/butt or back. The reason being on a long road trip you can use just back so you don’t get too tight. I love it on my truck. :) you guys rock.

I love this channel. A great show would be you guys sent on ridiculous top gear style road trips by some serious maybe older car dudes who would stay at home base, testing cars at the track, interviewing guests, and thinking up challenges. So sort of like a mix of classic top gear but with a Mythbusters power structure.

We did a 2000km road trip with the new Tahoe. Amazing. Only problem with the last raw, not so comfortable. I loved driving the giant.

Kudos to Chevy for installing the split heater for the front seats. I had it in my E60 BMW 530d with comfort seats and I loved it. In contrast to Jakub - mine were always set to "zero for the butt, 100% for the back". :)

Hey Jakub. Nice just got the 2018 Traverse but the new Tahoe wow incredible stats on the engine and like the mag suspension in that thing. BTW congrats on the channel its looking great. We should meet up sometime, would be great to catch up.

So glad that General Motors FINALLY let Chevy use that 6.2 L V8 in their Tahoes and Suburbans. For years it was just in the Yukon and Yukon XL Denalis. I too like the monochromatic look, with the body color grille, door handles, etc... Sadly there is only 4 colors available when you pick the RST package: Black, White, Silver, Dark Grey.

WOW! heated seats, my '03 Tahoe Z71 had heated, no cooled back then, seats and you could chose between ass and back or just back. After a long day of work and a long ride home the heated back got used year round. Also had adjustable pedals to.

I think the engine is the L99 or similar variant, which is based on the LS engines except it has active fuel management where it can shut down 4cyl much like the automatic SS camaros and other automatic chevrolet v8s

Curious if they fixed the nasty squeeky seats for 2018. Last years models allllll squeeked. and for almost 100g thats pretty sad. But i will admit... i do like that truck!

+Dorian W. No squeaky seats in ours, that's about all we can confirm. Although the lane keep assist vibrates your Butt depending on which lane you're driving over. Pretty funny and weird sensation. Like farting

Should have had one stock....Im waiting to see ehat Cadillac does with their upcoming "Escalade V" LT4 perhaps....I just pray not a blackwing.....what makes GM engines so popular is their simplicity, reliability and aftermarket support (due mostly in part to the former.)

I like GM for 3 reasons, cheap to work on, the v8s and older v6's are beyond reliable, and they have a TON of aftermarket support

Yea, same premise as the old LS2-L76 type stuff...except its the LT1-L86. Its an LT1 as much as a L76 is an LS2. They are mostly the same just having slightly different specs, but still fully interchangeable what makes GM engines so easy to work on....make 1 part for one engine and it fits on 5.

LS motors were last generation, not to mention that’s only in the sports cars like the Camaro and Corvette. This Tahoe has the EcoTec3 L86 motor.

Considering the extremely high price & unaspiring interior & exterior it’s just not worth it considering the addition of the Kia Telluride with a hell of a lot of options that you can’t get on the Tahoe & a price tag of under 50 grand it’s definitely worth while looking at it

You guys made a mistake, you said the 6.2L is a LS motor, it’s not it’s the newer LT1, completely different motor then the LS. The 6.2L LT1 motor and the 10 speed automatic is what comes in the Camaro and Corvette.
