In this video Alex from ‪@AlexsOptions‬ explains fundamentals of #thestrat like broadening formations, timeframe continuity and simultaneous breaks with that you can implement a 100% mechanical trading stratey for swing or day trading.

Using the simultaneous inside 60 break! Then ideally daily signals to re confirm the week such as 2-2 or 2-1-2 day signals

If you’re taking the entry off the daily candle would you still be looking for FTFC on the monthly/weekly/daily/hour or would you then go to the quarterly/monthly/weekly/daily to determine FTFC

Around 25.50 mark there is a 50% rule you didnt mention around 23rd it went 50 % then turned around before target this happens all day long it didnt go 3 either

Also if you are using 50% rule or any other rule you must take the trade no looking back and saying it pulled back after hitting it and you would take the trade later in hindsight

Respect to Rob I was shocked and saddened when he died been following the strat for 10 yrs but Ftfc does not imo tell you who is in control it can change at any time Cherry picking charts is easy for any system Too many stopouts for me but I still continue to study it

I always had ichimoku cloud on my charts that is my trigger I still use price action and triangles/ broadening formations Rob was right about broadening formations they happen all day and can be hugely helpful

Depends on the trader. Like I said, do one thing correctly then experiment change timeframes & figure out what you are comfortable doing! Stops can be shrunk down very easily but not something we talked about here

I keep hearing that revstrats are great to trade, but if they are failed breakouts e.g. a 2U-1-2D & you've gone short where entry is at the low of the 1 bar, but that last 2D is followed by a 2U that stops you out, how is that a great trade? Are you just supposed to accept that the 2U-1-2D reversal has failed & you've lost that trade & you need to switch direction & now go long?

Risk dollar to make penny that's what this method is all about. And they also have a failed pattern that's called 3. How? Inside bar(which is actionable in their book) you took the trade about that bar's high or low based on FTFC and what not? And suddenly that bar goes other way and you lost money doing strat too 😅. And don't tell me you can go and take other side of a trade as I've mentioned FTFC was on your side 😛still you'll loose money.

That’s why we use tight stops. We risk pennies and make dollars and when we’re right were REALLY right. On the weekly price action we saw we made a trade on $BAC 2-2 week and hit .11 to 1.4 in less than 12 hours. Risking pennies to make dollars. And the trades I have shown were risking less than 50/100 to make 700! It’s not risk reward it’s cutting losers early and holding the things that continue into TFC. Dishonest review of thestrat IMO.

Sounds like you haven't really looked into it, I recommend you watch this video again a few times and also Alex's videos on his channel - and checking out MTF Analysis with TheStrat can help a lot.
