I am a scuba diver, I currently have a 41mm Series 5 which lready looks decently big on my tiny wrists. Tired on a 44mm at the Store and my wrist just disapperas. I despretly wished there was a smaller version of the Ultra. 49mm just locks out so many people, especially women and also a lot of people in asian markets.

The AW Ultra is speced to have 100 meters of water resistance but the diving ceritification is only for recreational diving down to 40 meters. So the AW could go down to 100m without breaking but I don't think it would allow you to use the dive functionality that deep.

WR100 doesn’t mean you can take it down 100m. It’s just a rating system and it’s pretty misleading. WR100 just means you can swim and splash and it’s fine. The Apple Watch Ultra though has been approved for driving to 40m so technically the WR100 is a bit misleading since it would probably pass the WR200 tests.
