It's interesting how much Sidious wanted Vader to embody some of the traits of the ancient Sith if you look at ones like Malgius it's easy to see, but you can also see this in Sion on how Sidious made Vader's suit be as encumbrance and painful for Anakin it's clear he was using Vader to experiment with how Sion achieved immortality and hoped Vader would unlock this gift of Sion's.

i doubt he tried to make vader immortal, as immortality itself is very hard to achieve. (remember vitiate sucked dry 2 entire planets including 8000 sith lords and he was still insecure about his immortality) Sion could have easily died just by destroying his force essence. Nihilus for example could have just sucked him dry and he would die. Sion's special ability is to have an "immortal body". his body couldnt be destroyed.

Oh. I thought Sidious gave Vader a crappy suit so Vader wouldn't be a real threat to Sidious' life and plans.

@@Valkyraw you and Mikael are both right, while it's unlikely Sidious was pursuing long term immortality with Vader, him painfully grafting the suit onto Vader without any way to numb Anakin's physical pain was an immediate effort to strengthen his connection to the dark side enough that Anakin could survive both his injuries on Mustafar, and his operation. The suit was deliberately made to give Sidious an edge over him as it was weak to force lightning and had other drawbacks, and it wouldn't give him immortality obviously he just wanted a means to prolong Vader, and in legends I think he drew a lot inspiration from Sion in Vader's reconstruction.

@@chadflanaganCFC Both in the old Expanded Universe/Legends and the new canon, Sidious pretty much loathed Anakin/Vader after he lost to Obi-Wan and pretty much used him as a guard dog and as a boogie man to scare any rebels to keep his empire in check not caring if he lived or died.

"...murdered the jedi that struck him down." So it's murder when a sith kills a jedi but not the other way around. I like the sith more than the jedi. Overall they know who and what they are and don't try to sugar coat it. Jedi do some really crappy stuff and try to make it sound better than it is. They take children from their parents and claim it's for their own good. They tell the children stories of great jedi knight's and lead them to believe they will be one too. They never tell them if they are not chosen to be a padawan or if they fail "The Trials" they will be shipped off to some planet to be farmers to grow food for the "real" jedi. That's a crappy thing to do.

Here’s an idea what if instead the Sith surviving the last war before the thousand years before episode one but the imperial forces the troopers, agents, ships commanders not Sith but the empires forces going into hiding to form a way of destroying the republic and Jedi but with no Sith.

Was good fight though but even good fights wear out their welcom. funny enuph my character in KOTR 2 was a follower of the darkside too. Sion for Meetra was because she was a wound in the Force, and in his broken mind he believed she would be similar to him, but perhaps one of the most definitely moments of pure Jedi Noble Hope Meetra gave him peace he sought.

How ironic this guy WANTED to die, least originally, an either the Force or for awhile the Reaper said "yeah, nope... just not feeling that so your gonna keep living, sorry..". An then after awhile... guess those things stopped returning his Force calls or something. Imagine when he FINALLY DID die once an for all... like... did he go in one piece... or collapse into bunch of spare parts in various stages of deterioration

This is why i loved KotOR 2 and its criminally underated. The writing of the Sith is just on another level. Scion its just a fantastic character, while evil he is redeemable and i remember loving the fact that he lets you go and has a bit of respect which grows into love. Oh if only the game had been longer and they explored that aspect more... I need to go back and play KotOR 2 now.
