Michael Grant, 45, was found unresponsive near the Punta Ballena strip in the Spanish tourist hotspot in the early hours of Monday morning.

Their is a certain drug dealer gone missing/ in hiding doing the rounds. It has to fit their agenda to make it go mainstream. Family man on holiday is just to plain, Jay has mystery and so many lies new stories keep coming out. In a normal world this should be given the attention but media needs the click sales.

Sympathy for all his family & friends. Can’t begin to imagine the torment his wife must be going through. My dad died in Croatia aged 57 & I flew out there to be with my mam. I can empathise with those who were on holiday with him. Hope the truth comes out!!

I was staying in the hotel by the roadside where the man’s body lay. His body lay there uncovered from 4:30am upto the time I watched the police place his body in a body bag at 10:45. Absolutely disgusting not to cover his body up for so long.

He had consumed cocaine and alcohol before he died which is believed to be linked to his collapse and death. Saliva samples have been taken from the bites on his shoulder, he is believed to have had an altercation with a street seller but the injuries he received were not life threatening.

Quite possibly. Whilst the crime will still be investigated, places which rely on tourism economies generally do try to keep bad incidents as low profile as possible, so as not to scare tourists away. That's not exclusive to Magaluf, it happens in many places.

Sadly it's because Brits especially behave irresponsibly when they go abroad years ago for a short time I had a pub in Ibiza and it was always some of the tourists who came from the UK who drank too much behaved badly and the barman that worked in the pub had to make them leave the pub but the tourists from Europe were better behaved I'm sorry for his family it's very sad I think whenever you go on holiday it's much safer to stay with family and friends to keep you safe

A friend of mine and I ran into trouble late one night in Loret De Mar (nearby on the coast of Spain) after an evening of drinking some years ago. He was beaten savagely by a night club guard, known locally by police and residents to be uncharacteristically violent. Word quickly spread thru town about the incident and a local bartender told me about this guy. It's a rough town she said.

I can confirm many years ago , was in a bar in lloret de mar , bar staff go around antagonising customers by spraying them in the face with water pistols , if you react they start fighting you , man or woman , they dont care, they are ready for a fight and will antagonise anyone , so it seems some things never change , quite bizarre behaviour, they need tourists but hate us at the same time

@@babyamy3884 there is a part of majorca yeah but not magaluf, magaluf is very small really just that strip and the hotels surrounding it so maybe he wasn't actually stopping there just ended up their wrecked. I stayed there for 6 weeks one summer took me about 2 years to recover 🤣🤣

Spain doesn't have much CCTV on the streets - i live in a Spanish mini city and hardly any CCTV - inside shops and petrol station forecourts and on triple carriageways in the major cities for traffic control reasons

IN reply to Peter the cop,I worked for the Tourist Police in a popular Asian country for two years and Drunks can be a serious problem Abroad, Many are Killed here in Motorbike accidents,some falling over hotel balconies,getting involved in fights, using drugs and getting caught facing life imprisonment, and this year we have had over 500 Brits arrested on the Island I live on which in 31 years of living here Ive never seen arrest figures like that and I fully understand why Spain no longer want British Tourists, This comment has no relation to the Man that Died, condolences to his family and friends.

How did you come to the conclusion that alcohol is the cause? The bite marks and other trauma to the body are caused by alcohol? lol ok, stop trying to find excuses other than the obvious… sinister circumstances all the way.

@@JC190_ I’m not making excuses I’m trying to state the obvious I wasn’t there it’s a regular thing we go on holidays to let lose to and when you making statements like it was murder etc your not thinking of the horrific thought the family is going through thinking of all sorts the guy is dead and you got to understand he’s left his poor family behind who is in so much pain and turmoil

To me it sounds like he was very drunk and got into a bar fight with someone. Why was he totally alone out instead of together with his wife and pals? People make stupid choices and it gets a tragic result. Specially for the family that is left.

First of all you don’t go on holidays like that ( what we seen on the video ) . This is not holiday this is a zombie place. !!! Second : you don’t separate your self from the group and go drinking !!!! You are in the forint land and you don’t know their language!!!!
