Adorable dog reacts in the cutest way to Lion King's saddest scene

The clever four-month-old pup was transfixed by the emotional scene in which Simba reacts to the death of his father, Mufasa. Luna seemed to fully understand what was happening on screen, whimpering in response and lying down at the same time as Simba lay next to his father.
Owner Josh Myers said, “To see her crying at the TV was the sweetest thing I think I’ve ever seen.”

It's not intelligence. It is my belief that we as humans disconnect somehow from something super loving and encompassing when we are born and only stay in touch with it for our first year. We reconnect when we pass on. Animals never lose that connection. They know. Take what I've said for what you can.

"Scientists" insist animals do not experience emotions. But anyone with one eye, half a brain and a dog know they experience emotions. They are if anything more empathetic than humans. That's what makes them such great therapy animals and service dogs. Brain scans measuring their mind's reaction to different images determined they have the sentience of a three or four year old. If a young child reacted this way we would consider it normal--it's also normal for dogs.

Dogs are the most amazing species ever to walk this earth, they are caring, loving, playful, have great heart for their loved ones, and not matter what you did to them before you close the door and walk away, they will always be happy to see you, their eyes filled with excitement, as they show you how happy they are that you returned, from the moment you opened the door. For example, if you were to lock a cat, or your wife in a car, and they couldn't get out, you leave them there for a few hours, do u really think the cat, or your wife would be happy the moment they seen your face? Nope. But a dog would be all kinds of excited to see you lol

I don't think that is a sorrow, you are bringing your human emotion into play. I think that is a relief knowing the Little Lion shows a action of safety. We know animals get anxious and relieved. Feeling sorrow though is a human emotion we have not seen in Animals.

That's where you see the animators did a great job. Even animals can watch and understand the emotions and what's going on in the scene. 🙂 Not that they can't, but the facial expressions, the movements and sounds make the animals feels what Simba is going through.

Ruth Adele West Cole in studies of humans, our brain reacts the same way emotionally to both real people and fictional characters (even though we ‘know’ they are not real), so it’s not a huge leap to think it is the same for dogs.

This adorable dog 🐕 ❤ shows her emotions by first leaning into the film and then stepping back and making crying sounds. She's a very smart animal. She is able to detect sorrow in the film. Animals have feelings too.

If you google it or search on Instagram, there is a woman who has set up these buttons with words and is training her dog to speak using the buttons. Some would be surprised... the dog legitimately communicates coherently in more detail than many would expect.
