We cannot reward putler with any concessions of any kind. He needs to see NOW that his unprovoked aggression (and YES, it was most certainly unprovoked!) will not be rewarded by letting him keep anything. Ukraine will fix this once and for all. THEN, when russia realizes that invading Ukraine is really a terrible idea, maybe now they will stop. Their neighbors (Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, etc.) will have to be protected similarly.

It wouldn’t have happened if the west had funded a coup in Ukraine and then used Zelensky as a puppet to violate the Minsk agreements. Russia told NATO for a decade what would happen if they kept pushing.

The original “peace deal” (April 2022) Putin offered Ukraine after invading again: Limited size of Ukraine military (and weapons), can’t buy any foreign weapons AND Russia, China, Belarus (added later) had veto powers. Russia can easily invade again and can veto any help to Ukraine by other signatories (Belarus would certainly veto as well). Russia violated Budapest Memorandum and Minsk Agreement. Putin wanted to restart the USSR.
