Catherine, Princess of Wales last week revealed that she has cancer in an emotional video that finally put to rest the vicious rumour-mill online.
Since the heartfelt confession was released the world has rallied around Princess Kate and Prince William as the full extent of the difficult circumstances the royal couple are living under is brought to light.
Princess Kate's cancer video has led to some embarrassing apologies from celebrities in the USA who eagerly poked fun at the Princess's absence from the Royal rota. But is an apology enough? NOBODY KNOWS William could have been standing right beside the man filming. Catherine said he'd been right beside her as her main support, so people shouldn't criticize unless they know everything. Just as the media and other people tortured and bullied her for weeks WITHOUT knowing all the details, she and William wanted to wait until their children were out of school so they didn't get questioned.

She may use Duchess of York but it doesn't have the same pull as Rachels does. And Henry and Rachel stated in the Sandringham summit they would NEVER use their titles to make money. I know how difficult it must have been for Catherine to share her cancer news. We have 30 different types of cancer on my maternal grandfather's side of the family, with some of my cousins having 3-4 different cancers at the same time. It takes a great deal of courage to explain to the world that you are ill and would like some privacy to deal with the disease. I'd like to see all the people who have been so critical, so sensational, and so nasty to her have to walk for a day in a cancer patient's shoes. Would they learn any lessons about humility, integrity, respect and faith? I think not----because they are morally bankrupt on all levels.

I’m sure William was wherever Prince Catherine asked him to be , by the camera crew ? Maybe in the house with the kids , maybe to hold it together she didn’t want him right there ! I think she did a fabulous job on her own, she didn't need William by her side. Royals often carry out engagements on their own and not always in pairs, even in a situation like this, it wasn't necessary to have her husband sitting next to her. I was sad to hear that my suspicions were correct. We are the same age, with our children similar ages... it's all very sad, so young to be hit with cancer, but I'm glad she told the public, if only trolls stopped trolling...

Catherine, Princess of Wales has her own opinions and makes her own decisions. This is her talking to us. She isn't like TOW who has to claw and hang onto Harry because she is so weak and needy. I have no doubt Prince William was close, watching, I bet he was so impressed with his courageous, poised wife. I was very moved by her beautiful, moving video.

Princess Catherine bringing all cancer patients and survivors into her message is typical of her compassionate, empathetic nature. Her message was delivered with what we’ve all come to know as her eloquent, honest, sincere way of expressing herself. My prayers go out to the Princess and her family. I wish for Catherine what she would wish for others: Good health and to surround themselves with love.

When you talked about the significance of daffodils in the life of Catherine, Princess of Wales, I felt emotional all over. I have a strong feeling that the setting wasn't entirely coincidental. If that is the case it is further evidence of how thoughtfulness and grace. I feel sure that Prince William was not too far away. He respected that it was his wife's story to tell. I don't think she felt forced to make this stayement. The public had been told that she would be back to work after Easter. Clearly this is not going to happen for some. As parents in this situation they would want as much time alone with their children to help them continue to come to come terms with and understand something that has to have turned their young worlds upside down. Now that everyone has had some time to process this, they know what the plans are for Catherine's treatment, and she has had her first course of treatment, they wil also want to relax and have some fun together as a family. I think her timing is perfect. In three weeks a lot of physical and emotional healing can be done. Catherine was always going to this her way because she has such strength, such a sense of duty and such love for her people. This is who she is! ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉 to Catherine the People's Princess, her wonderful husband, and her beautiful young family.

How do we know that Prince William wasn't standing right in front of Catherine, Princess of Wales, along with the BBC camera crew during the filming of her message? At the end of the day, no matter how many beloved family and closest friends you have around you during your cancer journey, it is the patient who personally, solely carries the weight of the disease every single day, especially during the darkness of night when the pain, loneliness, and anxiety can set in at full force.

This woman, born 60 years later, is an old school lady in the mold of the greatest generation. These two were absolutely lovely. I am so relieved that everyone is pointing out how incredible Catherine is instead of tearing her down for ridiculous idiotic vapid reasons. There is definitely a part of me that can understand the media calling her a mix of Catherine and Kate, due to algorithms and so forth. The Middleton bit is what really gets me. Completely agree that I look forward to the day when MeGain, Hazbeen and Andrew are no longer brought up every other time, any of the royals are but I do understand that people are drawn to controversy and drama and so that may be a very long time if ever. An episode full of behind the scenes stories like Diana, refusing to speak to him for 2 weeks but then also throwing him a birthday party sounds great.

Actually, I was proud of Princess Catherine for making this video on her own. Not all women have men to support them and hold their hands through hard times. She was brave and conveyed that to less fortunate women on their own and encouraged many to be independent and get medical checkups. I believe her bravery will save lives.
