In this video, I show you how I give my picky dog her pills everyday. Reese is an imperial shih tzu dog and developed autoimmune meningitis encephalitis when she was 7.5 years old. Reese gets a supplement everyday in pill form to help her with her condition, and as you probably already know, giving a dog a pill can be a real challenge. I've been using this method for years now with Reese and it works so well. There is no fighting, biting, turning her head away or spitting it out of her mouth. She LOVES getting her pills this way! I hope this method helps you give your dog their pills easily too.

Imperial shih tzus are the mini version of shih tzus weighing under 9 pounds and are often called a teacup shih tzu or mini shih tzu. I got Reese as a companion to travel with me when I started travel nursing because I wanted a small portable dog that I could easily fly with. She made travel nursing with a dog so fun and easy and she is the best dog for traveling. Imperial shih tzu dogs have been a part of my family for many years and I just adore their adorable faces and sweet gentle and playful personalities.
