Naturally, Jeremy and Kaleb get most of the attention and accolade, but personally, I really like Charlie. If I were to back into farming and especially something as large as Jeremy's farm, I would really appreciate having someone like Charlie on the team. He knows his stuff and he tells you exactly as it is without sugar coating it. That man is a true asset and works hard at what he does.

I'm pretty sure Clarkson has gone on record to say he's probably one of the most important people to any farmer these days.

Super markets made a girt big profit again this year and now you can see how. No risk because any loaves not sold are tax deductable.

The making bread point is off. There is a lot involved in running a bakery, costs and all. And then there's the cost of the supply chain.

I have said this a thousand times: FAMERS TOGETHER MUST BEGIN SUPERMARKETS THEMSELVES !!!!!!!! Organize, invest together and you will have much more profit, plus all food and drinks will be cheaper for the Customers.

Most British farming is hobby farming compared to say Australia/NZ, surviving thanks to tax payer subsidies which don’t exist down under. Love the program tho as it is helping people understand how hard it is to farm and just what it takes to get food we need.

What's Australia got to do with New Zealand farming ? They are nothing like each other and separate countries. Australian's don't want to be associated with New Zealand in any way trust me.

There's a huge difference in land size & human density between the UK and Aus \ NZ. And, a lot of the plots of land in the UK smaller in comparison (talking farms here), because that's all that was needed 2\300 years ago to sustain the population. Famers only really served their local areas and exported to the local big city. I don't think the farmland in the UK alone could feed London now...

2:50 we need to face up to what's really happening here. There are too many farmers! So many are in the game purely because they want to.They have an almost romantic attachment to the lifestyle. Then they turn around and complain they're not getting enough money!
