I know a lovely Twitter user who makes “fake” content. It’s photoshopped vintage pictures usually, he adds horror elements. In his tweets he will explain the backstories of his creations as if they were real. However, he’s completely transparent about it being not factual. If anyones confused he won’t hesitate to tell them it’s fake. It’s no hidden secret, and it’s still super fun to read what he comes up with. I wish Dallas would just embrace the fakeness of it, come up with great, creative stories while making is clear at the beginning/end or something that it’s all made up.

as someone who also makes fake videos i find his response bizarre. having your viewers be aware of your content being satire and staged isnt always a bad thing, it creates an positive in-joke and builds up a stronger community. i dont put disclaimers at the start of mine, and i dont necessarily think he should either, but through storytelling and tone of voice he should strongly imply that the videos are staged and not legit. that way he can keep on making his dollary-doos without alienating a whole audience, who can then grow to appreciate the satire for what it is. ofc there will always be those who dont realise its a joke, and if they comment something suggesting so just reply with a quick 'its staged'

What really gets me about TheTekkitRealm is how he could make similar content to what he's making without faking anything. He could report on actual internet mysteries, he could retell stories and creepypastas, he could actually mess with tech support scammers, he could make openly fictional videos, there is so much he could do. He has talent. But yet he is coming off like a pathological liar who can't help but deceive people. It's really troubling.

TheTekkitRealm was one of my favorite youtubers as a kid. i 100% actually remember him taking sponsers from websites where you can buy subs but for whatever reason i never got suspicious until guvoids video on it and even then some part of me still wanted to believe that he was at least a creative person who wanted to make fun entertaining stories and share them with the world and yet with the discovery that he steals content i dont even know if i can beleive that anymore. really sad that this happened. i just hope he comes clean. thanks for the video!

It's really disappointing to see TheTekkitRealm, a KZfaqr who constantly fakes his videos and fools his followers, get millions of views and subscribers. It's even sadder to see TTR fans ignoring solid facts and insulting people who call TTR out.

this comment section just shows us how two videos can make up a perspective. I think that most things said could potentially be true, but you would still need to look at tekkitrealm's response, and I seriously think tekkitrealm isnt a bad person like the comment is trying to portray him as.

I'm a developer. TekkitRealm gets terminology wrong in every video. It's always been clear he's talking out of his ass with the game development, hacks or whatever. I mean, in his last video about the online radio he can't even use "subdomain" correctly. Seeing this all come together is very funny.

With only 45k your videos are insane. Quality, editing and everything. I find you on the level of big channels like SunnyV2 and DramaAlert. You have achieved something that I tried to achieve but couldn't do it as successfully as you did, and that is raise awareness about the fact that TheTekkitRealm fakes his content. If he does come clean and admit his mistakes, it'd be really nice, and I wonder what the people who argued against me when I made 3 videos debunking TTR's lies would have to say about that.

As long as it's profitable, he'll keep on lying. And as long as he doesn't make a video apology, he won't lose that many more subscribers. And if he won't lose many more subscribers, he'll keep getting millions of views. And he'll never get a SunnyV2 or InternetAjay video about his rise and fall.

Ngl I think alot of his older audience were aware its fake, like bro was almost killed ever week. His strong point is thats hes entertaining and a good story teller. I think hes reacting very poorly to people discussing the fakeness, he could have easily made a video saying something along the lines of “its content to listen to while doing hw, nothing to be taken seriously” and everyone would move on, but he responded as if his guarding some important secret its so cringe

Weirdly enough, he even fakes his Minecraft videos. In the video "Trapping a Minecraft Scammer in the Hardest Escape Map" he was speaking to a "scammer" posing to be MrBeast. Of course TheTekkitRealm managed to get this scammer into Minecraft and the username is "Mr____Beast". I had a little bit of a search into this just because I was bored and I had found out the previous account name was "tekkitrealm_12". I was quite surprised and then of course I came across both of your videos. Hope this little anecdote was interesting, also please keep up the great work!

His videos may be entertaining but him lying, and then doubling down on it, and then blaming the fans/banning them for calling him out AND acting like nothing happened makes me uncomfortable watching his videos knowing they were made out of pure greed and not passion

I feel like he could have gone farther as a KZfaqr if he had made stories and let people know that they were fake. He's such a good storyteller, and I think that being a horror fiction storyteller would have been a much better path for him.

Thank you for this video you got a new subscriber! I’m really glad how you put out information but also say that spreading hate is never the answer. A lot of channels like these ones start controversies over stupid things and I’m glad to have found one that focuses on spreading truth instead of just overreacting to stuff to cause drama :)

This whole situation made me realize that i should definitely think twice before believing a youtube video. I mean I know it's common sense and yes of course I already knew that. But when you're just casually watching youtube while multitasking, it's easy to just eat whatever is spewed out of the algorithm. I was a big fan of Dallas's videos, and even then, some of his videos would have me like, "Is this even real ??" but i kinda just accepted that it was. Anyways this situation is disappointing to me and I find it hard now to watch his videos, I hope he improves from here on out, because once you break your viewer's trust, it is difficult to earn it back.
