The 70's for me.... well its the core of all great music where innovation and skill dominated over looks and dance routines. I know there were boy bands back then, but I do feel a great song could be recognized by the writing or performance rather than the marketing budget spend.

Also a time when musicians spent time and significant money crafting the songs and albums in the studios. They worked really hard to create all these amazing albums

Each Comfortably Numb solo from David Gilmour is great .. live to Pompei , Delicate song of Tunder concert , Pulse concert , ect. etc. To Pulse concert , for many people it's one of the best live guitar solo of all times . Uncut version is fire 🔥 😎😁🎸🎶✨

comfortably numb live at Pompeii 100 million views. the best after 'pulse'. Rick Wrights last concert tour .Gdansk.last time "echoes " ( 5 stars) Dave said never again without Rick. dave is introvert, his wife says he speaks better through his guitar. Fyi; The ( octopus in pulse) music critics said Pink Floyd music is not DANCE music and the won't go far. so after "the wall" they put in the disco ball.check out same concert " great day for freedom".

Yeah right. Jimi is the true God. Gilmour is great but if you strip away David's incredible tone, he is still great but not nearly as great.

Gilmour is a very, very private person. The term "quiet desperation" fits him perfectly. But he's also one of the most humble people you'd ever meet.

even off camera watch the live version on the pulse tour. the solo is longer and even more amazing. Their pulse tour is the greatest live concert ever.

He was with the Allman Brothers for a while, and he had his own group, The Derek Trucks Band, now he is with his wife Susan Tedeschi in the Tedeschi Trucks Band. He is not as flashy as some, but his slide playing is sublime.
