Roman's right - Amir Khan had a lot of muscle before this. Take a look at the pictures from the film Ghajini or even the trailer (it is a great film btw). So underneath all that weight he still had plenty of muscle. I don't want to downplay what he was able to do with his 52 year old body - to go through that transformation is definitely amazing! But not everyone can do so in 5 months and to that extent. He's a dedicated actor for sure!
