We Did All The Horse Things At Disney's Fort Wilderness! | First Pony Ride, Horseback Riding & More!

Today's vlog is day 3 of our Fort Wilderness RV camping vacation! We start the day with breakfast at the campsite, then we head out to the Meadow Trading Post to check out some of the resort specific merch! We got a few things and we'll show you those in another video soon. Then we head over to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch for Jackson's very first pony ride! He did such a great job, we were so proud of him! We head back to the RV for lunch and later we go horseback riding, it was such a relaxing experience, we really enjoyed it a lot! Then we head back for dinner, at the RV, we made all of our leftovers because we check out tomorrow. We end our night with a horse drawn carriage ride and some smores. It truly was the best day of the trip! We hope you enjoyed doing all the horse things with us today! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

So glad you guys got to experience the therapeutic and wonderful world of horses. I grew up with them and am halfway through vet school… a journey that started with my childhood love for horses. I love nothing more than to see people share a fascination and love for these special creatures.

I LOVE HORSES. Never Raised them, but have ridden them a few times. I Love watching them in the Parades in New Orleans. Clydesdales are the Main horses the Cops use while Patrolling on Bourbon Street

Jackson the cowboy! He was so calm and respectful around the pony! A natural! A good horse riding tip for staying balanced is to use your legs by gently squeezing them inward. It definitely is exercise when riding!😃

I smiled so big when Jackson got on the pony. My daughter started therapeutic riding at age 3. We bought her a pony and she showed for a few years! Such great memories she is now 36.

I never really comment on videos, but as a massive theme park fan that has recently started horseback riding, I couldn’t help but love this. Horseback riding and just being around horses in general has helped me with my anxiety and has made me feel like a better person since I started riding back in September. It’s so calming and people don’t know the tremendous impact horses have on people, so it just made my heart grow seeing them make you all feel so calm and happy, especially Jackson :)

Loved seeing Jackson riding the pony! This day reminds me of our horseback ride at Fort Wilderness in 2013. We were waiting at the stable area on the wrong side of Fort Wilderness. Finally we asked. The cast members went out of their way to get us to the right location in the nick of time. Had a great day at Fort Wilderness!

I did the trail ride in 2013 and loved it! And I'm a horse person. I've done trail rides in other states and in Ireland, and the Fort Wilderness trail ride was the most relaxing trail ride I've been on. Not the most challenging, but most relaxing. Plus my best friend, whose also horsey, and I had a really nice conversation with the horse wranglers. Really great staff and the horses appeared very well cared for. Hoping to do the pony rides with my 4 yr old in October and the carriage ride with my husband for our anniversary.

This! Definitely shop around and ask to visit a few places before you commit to one. Many places don't take 2 year olds, but there are likely a few that do in your area! So, ask around! The stable I work at in South Carolina takes children of ANY age as long as there is interest and ability to follow simple directions and sit on their own, like Jackson had to do for the pony ride. Starting them young is a great idea!

Amazing trip. You have covered a lot of Fort Wilderness. We go in December in our RV and just love it. RV’ers are very relaxed friendly people always helping one another and always respectful of your space, never intrusive. That’s why we love it. We saw lots of Deer and turkeys this past December. We stayed in the 1400 loop and it was fabulous. Amazing to see Jackson take so well to the horses. He looked so happy riding Hershey and he did so well. The rental company did a really great job outfitting the TT for you. If you do buy a used Travel Trailer, get it inspected before you buy it. New or used get a NRVIA inspector to check it out well worth the money.

This vlog reminded me of the first time I went horseback riding as a Girl Scout. My horse’s name was Fancy and she was such a good girl! 2 years later I went back to the same ranch with my mom and I had Fancy again! My daughter is the same age as Jackson and I can’t wait to take her on pony rides!

quick tip, when getting the oval-shaped coins as soon as they come out press them on the top of the machine, as they are still warm you can flatten them

My daughter rode Hershey the week before Jackson! haha We full-time RV and love this life. Just left the Keys after our 2 weeks at Disney, more of Florida for another month then heading up the coast and aim to be in Maine by June. Our kids "road school" and hubby works fully remote. Grateful for this fun RV life.

Fort Wilderness is the only place I’d stay at Disney. I love the great outdoors!! And that horse drawn carriage I good do forever. I’d survive being Amish!

I rode a pony there when I was like 6, and in the middle of the ride, my pony started eating grass, and it took like five minutes for him to start moving again! Disney memories are the best memories
