I think there is a real opportunity next season , But keeping are best players is so important and adding players in key positions , i think right side attacker , 2 cb's and centre mid dcm or amf and Bruno get more involved or more are rock. As Liverpool will drop off you would think , pep already talking of leaving could have city not at peak levels. Will arsenal maintain there levels? Spurs look like they need another face lift in terms of playing style so anticipate 5th to 8th , villa with champions league might struggle a little still 5th to 8th , Chelsea it's uncertain. Man Utd could springboard from this but they do need a big rebuild a few transfer windows short of that rebuild. I think the door is open if we can fill them positions with quality to have a real top 4 push next season . or better. city and arsenal top 2 then door is open. We are in with the other 6 for the top four but we know where the improvements are needed most the other clubs are going into transitional periods and we should look to capitalise really. i'm sure we will but weather the first 11 is improved for next season remains open.

Man Utd had joint 5th best defensive record in the league. Alan Shearer watching Man Utd win and Ten Hag slating the pundits was the icing on the cake. Man Utd got revenge on Man City and get to play Man City in the community shield and Europa League group stage.

If there was one thing which derailed the season it must have been Pope being injured, which I'm sure cost the club about five or six points. I don't blame Eddie. The man is not infallible and even a top manager can make mistakes now and then.

No one expected Chelsea to win their last 5 games, no one expected Manure to beat City, whilst it's a disappointing not be in Europe, it highlights how far we have come, the disappointment we feel. Finishing 7th is a respectable effort, given our extensive injury list. No doubt the conspiracy theories will be doing the rounds as " the big 5, plus Spurs" are all back in Europe next season. Manure now join Ipswich Wigan, Mackems, Wimbledon, Southampton in great cup upsets.

Not even that gutted about conference league money but the chances of isak and guimares both staying is now 1% in my opinion. Our season was lost during November-January. Picking up 5 of a possible 18 points from Luton, Everton and Nottingham Forest is actaully disgraceful. And only 1 of those 5 came from Luton!! 1!!!!!
