Sir, I came to know that there are different types of courses provided by IATA. Could you please explain them if am right. Or could you please let know of the scope of the courses in the long run.

IATA provides more of theoretical courses and later you would need to do practical Amadeus Course. We already have one of the video on same, feel free to watch. For long run learn Amadeus practically, or do IATA Ramp Management Practical Course which is not available in India

For taking admission in lowest fees for IATA courses go on Iata.org but let me tell you most of the courses of IATA are going to be theory and after that also you would need to learn Amadeus or Galileo which are GDS, so if you don't know GDS then, learn Amadeus it is recommended by IATA and required to work in all the IATA travel companies and IATA Airlines. Dear Travel Aspirant, if you want to do IATA only then register directly with IATA, their website is www.IATA.org it would cost you around 30K If you would do through any institute then the same thing would cost double If you like to do practical Travel Package Management then you can do that through The Tourism School distance learning and the fees of that is 40K

Let me explain you in simple language. Iata is like the traffic police, Amadeus is like Mercedes and Galileo is like Maruti. So let me make it more clear, IATA only makes rules of Air Ticketing but for doing practical air ticketing we need either Amadeus or Galileo. Amadeus and Galileo both are competitors of each other and they both provides application to book air tickets, this is world's one of the most exclusive and first application only and only for Travel Agents. In India it is only The Tourism School which provides unlimited practical training of Air Ticketing. I hope your question is answered

I will be very happy,if you explain me,what actually travelling is?,why people are travelling,when almost 90-95% of the youth of the modern day is inclined towards travelling spirit then why isn't everybody is engaging in tourism sector,also make videos of the experiences of people doing jobs schooled/graduated from tourism schools,why don't you telling complete life of the students(whether they are seriously enjoying their job or not)

Now more beneficial is Amadeus, by doing only theoretical course of IATA there is no benefit, so do Practical Course of Air Ticketing which is Amadeus GDS

sourabh kumar in many sense both are same but the main difference is that ICAO is more concerned with civil activities and IATA is in commercial activities

According to IATA, one should first run a Travel Agency for minimum 6 months before going for IATA and first going for IATA is lengthy and expensive way
