Bad brains were a reggae/hardcore band. They play a lot of hardcore songs, but there are also a few pure reggae songs they do. Some of their Punk songs do have reggae influence too though, like I against I.

that's because this is not a true band and definitely not a true hardcore band there main reason to be in it was probably because it made them cool or they thought it did but everyone starts a band for a different reason I guess
